[OFFICIAL] Superstition SoCal Meet!

I know that dirtflinger will be the first one out there on Thursday afternoon, then myself and 4WD(Doug) will be heading out early morning friday.

I have already posted were we are going to be, considering that its going to be very busy out there this weekend, i suggested that we set up camp somewhere between markers 3-5.

When i get there i will try my best to make it clear to people that there is going to be a big group camping here, by posting a sign or Taping off an area with caution Tape

 

Perhaps someone can get the exact cordinates when you get there and post them. If it's already been done...oops

 

My Front is LT and if I can get shit going on Wed night ill get my F67's installed but still wont have real shocks so it wont help much (probably just blow my 7100's). So basically im in a similar situation as Matt but even less willing to beat on it haha.

Went to SuperStitions on Friday, Jan 7 2011 to just mess around before the actual meet. Took a few pics after getting high centered. Me in my Taco and my boy in his jeep. Pretty fun day. I wont be able to head out until this Saturday. I will be bringing my girl and two quads. I will also be bringing a few non Tacoma owners. FJ Cruiser, Titan Pro 4x and a few other quads. Hope to see many other quads out there. I will be on my Raptor 700.. aka Godzilla, aka the Punisher!!

 

Do we need whips out there on our truck??

 

I dont think we need them for anything out at superstitions. Never used one before last friday. I only did it that day just to do it. I have an extra you can use if you want

 

so does anyone have coordinates of mile marker 7? or are we meeting along 3-5?

 

They were required at Pismo Beach that's all

 

I may put one on my cb antenna if it is really crowded.

I'll be bringing my 6ft safety flag. Just in case.

We should have some kind of flashing light/beacon so it's easy to find us at night. Just a thought.

From the looks of it I guess we won't really know our camp site until the first group gets there. Be it marker 7 or marker 3-5. If there is cell signal someone can just post it up then.

edit: just reread the last several posts and jdkeller already mentioned it.

 

It probably wont be too hard to find each other. I would suspect that we will be based after the telephone lines. So drive down wheeler for like 5 mins depending how fast you are going and you will eventually see telephone lines running perpendicular to the road. It shouldnt be too much further than that.
