Hi ya’ll up to someone who needs it, harness for OEM LED Headlight conversion. Just give me $10 for shipping cost.

I no longer have a need for this, brand new, harness, as I went the Morimoto route

    2021 Tacoma TRD Off-Road
Wow, I'm glad I came across this thread. So I have a 2021 Tacoma TRD Off-Road with the nasty chrome halogen headlights. I recently put on the new Morimotos and did not like the light output on them and one of the daytime running bands stopped working every now and then randomly within two days of having them on. I wanted them off and returning them. So, I decided to find OEM LED headlights that you get on the "Premium Off-Road Package" from the dealer. I found one posting locally where I am at for $1200 for a set and they looked like new. I negotiated down to $1000 for the set. The only thing wrong is a small scratch near one of the top lens that does seem kind of deep. But as soon as I got them installed, they look fuckin fantastic! Do you guys think I got a great deal and worth all the trouble? Also, what should I do with regards to the scratch on the passenger side lens? I attached the picture of the small scratch on the top of the lens.

You can try buffing that scratch out, but it looks pretty deep. That generally means the best you're going to get is to minimize the scratch. That said, here's a big caution on buffing any headlight lens. Any time you polish headlight lenses, you remove some (or all) of the UV resistant coating. This will lead to accelerated oxidizing of your lenses down the road.

My advice? Just leave it as is and regularly apply a wax, sealant or coating to your headlights to protect them from the sun's rays.

FWIW - you can adjust the dial to raise and lower the lights with your fingers.

I initially tried with a 8mm wrench but it was taking way too long. So un-did the bolt for the windshield reservoir pushed it back a little and was able to adjust.

The drivers side should be easier is there is better access.

Yes when I picked up my 20 sport in may 2020 i had the oem led headlight and fogs. They matched pretty well. The fog housing was chrome so i switched to the oem black housing fogs. Now i have diode dynamics ss3 fogs. Lol

You can sand down the lens with 600grit wet sand paper untill the scratch is gone. Then clear coat it with a 2k clear coat in a can. This is much better than your typical cheapo rattle can clear. Done this several times and the lights will look brand new and not oxidize. Look up paint society on youtube. He has a great video on the process

Anyone know where the cheapest deal for these are at? Currently found them at $1,425 @ Elmore Toyota, out the door after tax in California.

Google search the part numbers. I just got mine for a little less. But can't remember where from. Be sure to compare totals not part prices. Some of the places were charging almost $100 for shipping.

I highly recommend that place. Been ordering from them the past few years. Always the cheapest place to get OEM parts

Edit: parts always are packages great and never had damaged parts. Headlights, multiple taillights, fluids, trim parts. They do a great job and same week delivery when I order on a Monday

I believe that's pretty close to what I paid. So good. Test your adapter harness before you start the install. It really sucks to pull it apart, put it back together and realize your harness sucks. Not that I have any experience with such a thing.

Tag me for help w harness trouble.

I’ll see if I can get some clear instructions going. The H9 male connectors appear to consistently throw people for a loop.
