Your not the only one who feels the scoop gets in the way. When I bought my newest Taco, I had two musts. 1-double cab if kids fit, as we had grown out of the access cab. 2-manual transmission. While walking the lot, we saw a blue sport and it looked sharp. That guided the rest.

never felt like I needed to trade it on because of the scoop, in fact thinking about a 4Runner and I want the scoop on that if possible, which is on the Off road.

Either way works but for light off-roading the off-road has better suspension set up over the sport .

I do a lot of camping with my sport and it goes everywhere I need it to go.

Team Sport here. Some people say the skewp isn’t functional, but all the girls like it, therefore it’s functional.

Where'd you get a scoop from? Ain't you be paying close to a pro for that matter?

From my very statistically significant survey study involving 4 18-24yr olds, I can confirm "all the girls" do not like the skewp

For on road driving, sport has a better suspension. Just be honest with yourself about what you're gonna use it for.

If you can’t decide between the sport or or, I suggest the sr5. Why pay for stuff you don’t know you want or need? An sr5 would easily satisfy your stated requirements. Perhaps even a sr would too.

While I never have driven a Sport I will say my Offroad has great on-road manners. My truck is my commuter on state highways pretty much 99% of the time and rides fine. Rides better than our '15 Camry SE. I honestly bought the TRD OR for the looks...

I’ve had an ‘18 Sport and now have a ‘20 OR. I can’t think of any reason why I’d ever have a Sport again.

I say get the sport if you are ever in a situation where you have to drive over a dead forest along the shore.:hattip:

Wait. What? Doesn’t everyone change out their suspension on TW? Hearsay.

Yeah I have a TRD Off Road. Suspension is garbage. I've had to completely replace it. I also understand the sport does have a better ride. Really depends upon what you wanna do!

It was free from some guy nearby that wondered on here long ago and hated the glare. One of my luckiest days on here.

That’s why I went with a Pro. With the cost of an OR, the hood with a scoop (the cost of the hood and painting it) I was very close to the price of a Pro, and I for more when I got the Pro.
