I missed that one. I'm not much for tv so miss out on news quite a bit.

That's interesting. I'm the opposite. I'm used to highways but country roads always freak me out in that I think it's so easy for someone to just cross that line at any moment and clip you.

401 is indeed no joke. This happened on the day of my first event with the group before TEC formally existed:

Less than two years later, my truck got totaled enroute to a club trucks & coffee meet:

Note the broken back glass, from the bed being bounced into the cab.

I might just stay in the slow lane and cruise her right to Milton after getting on #8 in New Hamburg.... then again I might take you up on your offer and I won’t tell your wife if we have a kinky convoy.

Thanks for the offer it’s appreciated.

As many know, I do the 400s from Sarnia area to Brampton every 2 weeks round trip. Used to do it weekly before wife retired. For 22 yrs did the Brampton to yonge/ Eglington daily. Seen alot of shit...

Now that we're not in a rush on the bi-weekly trips, I'll map out a good portion as non 400 series just so we can see backroad routes. We've done the entire route sans 400 series a few times...it's a hell of a nice/fun drive...

Might actually drop in for this Cadre of reprobates as it ties in with our regular schedule. Won't be a 10am arrival but Evgeny will likely still be sober by noon...not sure where in SW Ont your at, but fairly sure we'll be passing by it. Perhaps that'll be a back road weekend trip if you wanna hook up. Wanna bring the T4R back to Brampton anyway so the back route would be fun.

Lemme know, weather permitting...I'm sure they'll be out of stickers by then :crapstorm:

Thanks for the offer I’ll post in here closer to the date If I need an escort. I’m looking forward to putting some faces to some names.

Rethinking everything getting to Milton is actually not that bad. I live in Bayfield and have a great route to New Hamburg avoiding Stratford. Anything east of Milton on the 401 is a bit crazy for me. Familiar with that Milton exit to the south and it looks like the meet ups very close to there.

I’ll likely shoot out Gore Rd from Cambridge to Hwy. 6, then Campbellville Rd, drop down into Milton passing by Rattlesnake Point as it is a fun little hill. Easy drive, pretty nice and avoids the 401.

Was a nice little route last time.

I daily into Milton. Loads of fun when your commute is anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours.

I commuted from Cambridge to Brampton for nearly a decade and a half. Had to find alternative routes after spending 5 hours in a traffic jam.

I’m just starting my journey. Has been 2-3 years and I’m already tired of it. Thinking 25-30 more years.

Only way I can do long commute again (used to do 250km+ daily), would be with either GM's supercruise or Hyundai/Kia's assistance cruise control , specially Supercruise, its really really good.

I have a hard time with cruise. I need to drive to stay awake. For me it’s podcasts and ensuring I don’t have too much caffeine.

Let me know if you are interested in going. I think I will head up there. We can start a convoy.... and we can head through palmerston to Arthur to Guelph and backroad to Milton. We don't get to go through punkydoodles corners but we do get to stay off the 4 lanes
