The 18-19 grilles with blacked out bezel and slightly tinted emblem looks really good. Sorta what the new Limited Nightshade comes with from the factory.

I got it about a year ago. You're right they don't make them anymore. They priced them way too high, and I guess they had too few suckers like me willing to pay. They are still available, and I've seen them clearance priced at times. The grill along with the Rigid light was expensive as hell, but it works beautifully.

They advertise it doesn't work with TSS, but you just have to make a bracket. I covered mine with smoked plexiglass. Works perfectly with TSS, and is hidden behind grill. See picture below, red arrow pointing to where I mounted mine. Also the grill make it easy to mount the anytime Nakita camera.

Mine has evolved over the last three years…Personally, TRD Pro grille looks the best, it looks more like a truck and it looks meaner.

I think the blacked out honeycomb looks bad ass. I have the pro grill on the sport which is a bad ass combo. The thing I hate to see is copy cats. Everybody has pro grill, amber grill lights, blacked out badges. Sound familiar? I purposely didn’t install the amber lights and I took off all my badges and markings. At least that way the truck stands out from all the other clones and sheeps out there I don’t know why people don’t try to be original they just all follow the leader. I did see a kid with 6000k LED lights inside of his sports coop which looks pretty nice. 3A9B1938-FB50-4E64-94E3-F0241087A0AA.jpg

that last statement is sooo true. I have refused ink my whole life. I’m not a felon. Not trying to impress. Not insecure. Just rebellious against popular. Funny I had a woman hit on me the other day for the simple fact that she notice I didn’t have any ink and she said is there any ink that she can’t see that’s exposed and I said no head to toe no ink and she said that sexy. But I did go home lonely because I have a pro grill. Lol.

    …and a very jealous wife

I'm keeping my stock grill on my 18 OR. I love the look of the Pro but everyone else has it, so I'm trying to keep mine just a wee bit different.

That being said, I may get another grill that isn't Pro style in the future.

I wasn't a fan of my '17 OR chromed grill. Got this off a guy who makes them on Etsy. Put it on Sep '19 and has held up great since then.

It's only a 6" Rough Country Suspension Lift. I'm saving up for the Vertex adjustable coilovers and shocks. The tires are 285/70/r17 Toyo Open Country A/T. Have 42k miles on them and they still have quite a bit of tread left. Will probably go with the A/T II's for my next tires.

It's still gonna be awhile till I can afford any of it. I'm not dead set on the Vertex. I still got a lot of research to do on all the options.

Got the Pro on my ‘19 OR because I hate the cheese grater look.

Having said that, the new OEM grilles on the OR’s if blacked out look absolutely choice. If I had it to do again, I think I would keep the OEM grille and just black it out. Luckily down here, not too many other pro grilles on the Tacos I see. Maybe 1 in 20 or 30.

Kings are definitely worth it! This is my current set up. I need to adjust ride height to be about 3 inches. This is straight out the box on 275/70/17s on 17 inch methods.

And then crashed photos are from last week when I got rear ended.

The pro grille was the first thing I think I did to the truck when I bought it. I hated.....HATED the cheese grater grille. Looked at some aftermarket options, but wasn't too keen on any of them. Liked the stock look of the pro vs. aftermarket. I could care less if they are on every other Tacoma on the road.

Damn sure wasn't going to spend more coin on a Pro Tacoma when I knew I'd have to be ripping out suspension anyway, and at some point throwing in some katskinz. Plus, I was flat diggin' on the quicksand, not available on the Pro.
