None for me. Looks terrible as soon as you take it off-road.

Personally, I absolutely despise the wet, greasy look. Not to mention, I don’t care what they claim, they ALL sling on the side of your truck. I’ve always had a white vehicle so that’s obviously a no go.

I don’t get into a lot of hype about super over priced car wash products. In my mind, soap is soap... but I will say, as far as detailing products, Chemical Guys is the way to go. I have their VRP I clean my dash and all black trim components with. One day I decided to put it on the tires and I was very pleased. Gave them the clean, shiny look but more of a matte. Not greasy and whatnot. Also noticed they withstand rainy conditions as well. Totally off topic but I dig their HydroView as well for glass.

Tire dressing? Heard of wishbone salad dressing, and newman's, but gotta believe no matter what you put on tires their not going to taste well.

I like giving mine a nice shine with gasoline. Every time I stop by the gas stations I pour some on each tire. It gives them a super nice look. So nice that every time I go to the tire shop or dealer for service they always yell "what do put on your tires!?!?" cus they've never seen such shiny tires.

None. I think they all look terrible, sling onto the paint, and collect dirt. Soap, and a good scrub brush for me if I want mine nice and black.

If you really want an even matte black, just do the trick we used when I worked at the tire shop for the tires we hung on the wall... Flat black spray paint... Made the tires look great!!!

Chemical Guys = never again for me. I haven't tried all their products, but a lot of their shit is no better vs. regular joe stuff you can find at Wal Mart for less money

It’s a $6 bottle at walmart:rofl: Just a good water based tire dressing that doesn’t fling and has low shine. For the price I’ll stick with it.

One could just use a stick of butter for more control and wipe off the excess. Now that's saving money, plus you can cut the dirty side off the butter and use it for later

I use 'Bleach White' ... Came out back in the day when white wall tires were a thing. Cleans all the brown smhutz off the tire as well as all the brake dust off the rims. Also works great cleaning the mudflaps off too. Leaves everything a nice flat black. And it's cheap..

I second the Bleach White. Been around since the Old Testament. Then Adams. Tires also make the difference too. Of all my rolling stock the one with Michelins on it looks best. Tire for tire, Michelins are just a darker black tire than most, maybe more carbon black in the formula. The WORST looking tire I ever owned was also the absolute BEST tire I ever owned, the Vredestien Ultrac Sessenta. Better than every iteration of Michelin Pilot Sport ultra high performance tires I have tried. Problem was...they were a grey tire, not a black tire. No matter what you rubbed on them they looked like crap, varying levels of grey clouds rotating round and round. I guess the Dutch have wet muddy tires all the time and it don't matter what color they are. I scrubbed them for 20,000 miles with everything under the sun, and they still looked like shit. But man did they handle. They squish water sideways like a Formula 1 rain tire! Best wet weather tire ever:

I use chemical guys VRP or Silk Shine. To everyone concerned about sling just buff it with a towel. I also buff to not only remove excessive product but to give it more of a matte shine. Just keep an old crappy microfiber on deck to buff with. Been using the same process for years.
