Ran into an overturned bud light truck on our way out of nags head and used it as an excuse to turn around and have some more fun until it was cleared up, after they proceeded to make a mess overturning it.

Did you grab a 6-pack from the truck and enjoy it on the beach?

Puking from heat exhaustion didn’t stop me last night.
    Powered through the amp/sub combo.

Now have a truck that doesn’t bump from a mile away but sounds pretty good for less than $500 of speaker upgrades and sound deadening.

my old car audio me cringes at what I’ve become at 40.

Used to have 2 or 3 class a alpines and components all around and a large alpine or jl subwoofer.

now I’m cool with “good enough.”

Was always more into Quality than volume anyway.

Hahahaha I’m not going to lie it crossed my mind… but I’ve learned my lesson of drinking and driving there a long time ago. There’s no way I’ll go through that process again.

I’m in the same boat at 38. As soon as my enclosure shows up I’ll be a couple days away from having this install buttoned up, and unless my stock head unit pukes this is how it’ll stay. Ten year ago me would’ve laughed at now me, but adulting happens to the best of us.

Testing the new leafs only 1 day after install. 1650lbs of flooring and didn't faze these leafs one bit. Could not even feel the load.

    Impressive! What kind of leafs?

Stock leafs, AAL, 1” block, 1 broken leaf and blow rear shocks…just over a 1000lbs lol!

Done by me: decals, plastidip, and vinyl. More to come. Not done by me: Icon front/rear suspension; Total Chaos UCA’s; Method wheels/34” Falken tires; Prinsu cab rack/LED light bar; V1Air compressor piped to a 2.5 gallon underbed tank; Pelfreybilt front/rear bumpers; Smittybilt front winch.
I thought through several options, but that one was just for the picture lol. I wanted something that blended the state and truck, but kept going down dead ends for me until the OKLA•YOTA, such as:

    TACO•HOMA, OKLA•COMA, OKIE•COMA

The first one I knew a bunch of people would turn into a slur. The other two just seemed like a medical condition. I didn’t even think about this one until after: OKIE•TACO.

Nice thing about it is all I have to do is design up something new and swap it out if I want to.

pro comp six inch lift, 35 in tires, pro comp skid plate, custom subwoofer box, led interior,
That’s crazy. I once had 2,300lbs loaded in my bed with stock leafs and a 4 in block and had 0 problems.

I soldered my garage remote control board to a Tacoma dash button from Amazon. It was an on/off button so I took the button apart and removed a tiny metal clip which now made it momentary on. Since the remote is tucked under the dash it only works in the driveway and not the street but that is fine. No more worrying about someone getting access to the garage remote if my truck ever got broken into.

Not today and not me, but some jackwagon with a suspended license driving his GF's car.

The guy in the reflection is the jackwagon.

So, anyone know how much a replacement will cost?
