They've made it through 2 summers and a winter and look to be working like new. They're only out in the elements when the cover is opened, otherwise they're on the bottom side when it's closed.

Also the covers are made in North Dakota so they should know how to build them for the weather. :)

Awesome, thanks for the info. Looking forward to having the cover before we go to the beach for a week. I also ordered the Bed Mat.

I didn't think the bed mat was that big of a deal until I got one. It is amazing how much things don't slide on it. Costco runs are a breeze now but sliding the inflatable stand up paddleboards under the front third of the cover was a bit tougher.

Ultra Flex taking up the side rails as @grandpawmoses mentioned and the other image shows the plastic anchor, circled in red, that can be mounted on the rails.

I just opt for the tri fold soft cover have had them on other Tacoma and they were durable. I only have this pic at the moment but it does open and fold.

My new magnetic gray DCLB SR5 is being delivered in a month and I've chosen the Lomax for it's sleek look, remaining use of the rail system and it's actually made in the USA.

In your picture, it looks like a good match to the Tacoma magnetic gray.

It will look good with it but it is black, not dark gray. :)

Went with the lomax, wasn’t feeling confident with the soft cover options. Glad to have it on and it’s done well so far. Very clean and minimal design. There’s a couple of vendors here on TW with price breaks too.
