All this fetish & sex crazed talk reminded me about the other night. So I stopped at a local dive for wings and a beer. Struck up a conversation with a fairly attractive woman. Turns out she's a lesbian. No big deal..whatever. As we talk, she mentions she thinks about women all the time. Their bodies, naughty parts, etc... Just constantly. She's fascinated and loves the female body. We chatted for a bit more and I had hit the road. I get home and "she who must be obeyed" asked how my day was. I said "Well, I learned I'm a lesbian."

Yeah! Sister sent me this a bit ago. That boat looks new doesn’t it? Poor fools!

    Boat plug story...
We had a 17’ Glastron runabout with a 140 on it in HS. Towed it with my mom’s 280Z!
Backing it in to launch and I tell Trey to put the plug in. We take off. About 30 minutes later it’s time to ski. Open the ski slot and the ski floats out!
“Goddammit Trey!! Which way did you flip the plug? Up or down?”
    “Uhhhhh, down?”
    :annoyed::annoyed::annoyed:
Floored it back to the launch at the weirdest angle cuz it couldn’t get on a plane. Pulled up to the dock, shoved Trey overboard and told him to stick his fucking thumb in the hole.
Getting that boat on the trailer was as close to impossible as it was funny! (tilt trailer)
Traded a six pack for a plug and went back out...

    Okay, stupid question here...

If it's a plug, then why would flipping it down put it in an open position?

Water resistance opens the lever releasing the plug

The end of the lever stuck down below the bottom of the hull. Where the water was going by at 40mph!

    Ok, I’ll try again:cool:
The drain hole in the transom of a boat is at the lowest point, usually at the bottom of the V in the hull. If you flip that brass tennis racket lever down, it’s totally exposed to the water flowing under the boat. That pressure flips it back and it falls out. The plug is in the latched position in the photo.
We did realize you can tie a cord around the loop to secure it from sinking but, too late:anonymous:

Time for myself to throw a little story in here.

So, this morning I get into work and my sup (who is a decent guy but I'm not really a fan of him as a sup) is nowhere to be seen, as usual. I get clocked in and start looking up what I'll tackle first. He comes in after about 10 minutes and mentions our manager wants me to get my shop room cleaned up and organized

Ho: looks around Is it not already pretty organized for a well used room where I'm the only one using it? (it is actually decently organized but other people make it difficult to keep it to what my standard of decent would be)

Sup: Well (I'll call our manager...Kev) Kev says no and it needs to be more organized

Ho: Okay, but it's about as good as it's gonna get right now unless you want me to start throwing things away. What exactly does he want me to do? Move stuff from one side to the other?

Sup: You can go ask him what his expectations are for you and this area

Ho: ......Well if I'm the only one back here and am the main repairishhh person, wouldn't I be the one to determine where things are?

    Sup: Go as him

    Ho: Right

So I've spent the past 2 hours doing nothing but cleaning, buffing, dusting, and moving things around to make them appear better for whoever the fuck asked and will be doing that my whole day. And you know the first thing I'll be asked tomorrow? "Where are you on your repairs?" Exactly where I was yesterday before you asked me to reprioritize. Pick. One

I guess I'm thinking of flipped down like one of those suction cup things you use to pull dents out. Down is secure and up is no suction, but you're describing something backwards to that? If the flipped position in the visual is the latched position (which I'm calling "down") than straight is up?

I'll just need to look up a video on this. I'm not getting it or I think what you're calling down is what I'm calling up :notsure:

:facepalm:Next time just tell him you're way ahead of him and already organized it the day prior.

    Quick story...
I was at the magical age of 17ish....me and this gal were experimenting with each other on the living room floor of my parent's house; my dad walked in (lunchtime, I forgot all about that:facepalm:), I jumped up and ran to the bathroom, leaving her lying there fully nekkid:anonymous:

It is. That was actually made to represent me at work.
It's a losing battle. Now it's management and my sup that are basically micro-managing me and making life difficult. I can't deal with it in a...professional manner. Just got another inquiry from my manager as to where I am on my repairs and how there's a bunch of stuff on the down list. Yeah...shit breaks! Plus parts aren't shipping at any speed above slow right now, so yeah, the numbers don't look good. Another one for "fuck this" bingo.

    :sorry:

I've been in that position with a manager before and it's not a great feeling to feel like what work you do is overshadowed by rediculous expectation you'll never meet. Can't make parts just appear out of thin air.
