Do you have Parking rules?

just wondering if anyone else has parking rules like not anywhere near shopping carts or way out in the back of the parking lot like i do idk if there is another thread out there like this just popped in my head.

 

I always park next to and real close to the shopping cart return cage. I like the steel roll cage protecting 1 side of my vehicle.

Yea, I usually try to find a place away from most people, but even when I park in the middle of nowhere I come outside and find someone right up next to me

 

Here are my rules:

1) Park out, but not too far out. In the middle of nowhere, Murphy's law will hunt you down and punish you severely.

2) Back in when/where appropriate.

3) Never park next to a crapper, ever.

4) Park against curbs when possible.

5) Never park near a car where I see multiple people exit.

6) Don't park next to the buggy corale. People will carelessly use your truck as another stall.

7) Park dead-nuts center of your parking space....always, everytime.

8) Mule kick any car that dings yours.

I look for:

A. Cars that I know...at work, school, etc.

B. Nice cars...people take care of them, and should do the same to mine.

C. Trucks...driven by men.

D. Large parking spots...people who aren't parked on the lines.

 

I've walked out and watched a guy sling his door open and hit my truck. I wasn't going to go to jail for whipping his a$$, so I very discretely put my size 12 dead center of his driver side door with the force close to this:

It doesn't make any sense to me how people manage to do that, like it's not like you didn't see the car when you pulled in. But now I have my sliders, which are good for protecting against car doors so it's a little better and people with trucks tend to be more careful so I don't need to worry about them

 

If you have to park by someone and have a choice, park by the passenger side of the car next to you. Most people travel alone.

 

I try to find other well kept vehicles and park at least one space over from them, find a wide spot next to a curb, or a parallel spot at the end of the line.

 

1) Far away from the crowd
a) exercise
b) most people are do not respect others vehicles
2) Away from carts
3) Usually near an island prefer an island with a space between the cart return.

I tell you I can be a mile away from the entrance and come out and there will be 3 or 4 cars surrounding me. I don't know if they are aholes or respect the care I take but if the latter don't park on top of me.

I have watched to many IDIOTS play grocery cart curling across the isles and they miss the corales 9 times out of 10.

 

My problem with parking on the passenger side is you have a higher probability of a child opening the door, and many children open doors without thinking. I've had a few dings that way. (caught in the act).

I try to park by an island in a parking lot so i can park very close to the island and be farther away from any car that parks on the other side.

I also try and park uphill in a parking lot, as loose carts have a lower probability of rolling into me.

 

I always park at the back with the other big trucks. Walking the extra 30 seconds instead of trying to weasel in that last space at walmart is just stupid.

Go to the back of the lot, get that pull through, and rest at ease knowing everyone else that parks there (usually other lifted trucks) care as much about their vehicles as you do.

 

I always try and park next to an island, that way there can only be one car next to me, and I get as close as I can to it to keep other assholes away.

I check my truck for dings every time some one is next to me, if they did ding my door they are gonna get a window smashed and the door fucked up by my 3D mag light.

If the parking lot is slanted I always park up from the vehicel next to me,in case they let there door open without hanging on to it gravity lets it slam into my truck.

 

I always park next to very expensive cars, BMW, BENZ, LEXUS, ACURAS, Etc. Those car owners don't bang their doors against my truck ever???????????? My advice is never park next to Old cars, and handicap park spaces!!!!!!!!!!

 

If possible I park next to Handicap spaces, extra wide lanes and for whatever reason the same car that I park next too is still there after I leave....no dings.
