I’m not assuming anything about OP. But why would I pay for a truck that has features I don’t want or need and miss out on the things I want? That seems like a poor decision to me. I bought the sport because it handles and drives better for my use and I prefer the color matched flares and I like the scoop. Buying a truck because just TW has a massive hard-on for it, is a poor financial decision. Buying a truck that actually suits your needs is what OP should do.

Also, instead of worrying about my fast typing (ADHD) and spend some time supporting your statements.

I found that the OR was a good choice for me because of the condition of public roads where I live. Roads are heaved and/or full of potholes. I’d call it “mild” off-roading on a daily basis. Just my pref. You do wacha gotta do.

The ability of the scoop to catch bugs and keep them off your windshield far outweighs the fact that it's non-functioning as an intake

If you can't see why spending the same amount of money for a hood scoop that doesn't work instead of the functional upgrades that the Off Road has there is nothing I can do for you.

The Off Road is undeniably a better truck for your money, regardless of whether or not you think you'd ever use the locker or CC. The electronic brake booster alone is worth the price of admission.

When someone resorts to correcting grammar and saying “if you can’t see that, then I can’t help you,” it means you’ve reached the limits of their argument.

You're right. We've reached the limits of the argument if you can't see what is right in front of your nose.

It is better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

Get the OR for the various more Offroad capable extras.

My vision is 20/20, but keep trying. You haven’t provided a valid reason for someone to pay for features they don’t want or need rather than buying the truck that suits their needs. But you feel free to keep your blinders on so you don’t have to see opposing viewpoints. I hear ignorance is bliss.

I purchased my well loaded 2021 OR for 41k. Finding a Pro for 43k wasn’t going to happen, ever.

Did you look closely at those trucks you provided? Hope those “deals” come with Astroglide.

Yeah I did. And I don't think they are deals. I think they are a reason to go for a pro in the current circumstance like I said before. If you can get a fully loaded off road and get it off mrsp sure. But if you are going to add on things past the premium off road package like the skid plate, the new lift option, wheels, etc you minus well get a pro.

But this is off topic I suppose, OP get what you feel drives better and fits your needs. Test drive both.

    Agreed.

In my case, 11.3% off MSRP last December on the exact OR config I wanted was a no brainer.

If I could have gotten a silver Pro for 43k, I would have done that.

You can waste as much money as you want, just stop getting your non functional scoop in a bind when it's pointed out that the Off Road is in every way a better purchase whether or not you use the locker ever. Like I said, since they're the same price the brakes in the Off Road alone justify the choice.
