Headrest monitors

Hi all. I'm looking for some good head rest monitor ideas for my kids.

I have a 2008 double cab tacoma.

I would like something with a built in DVD player that is a drop in unit (minus wiring) to replace the OEM head rests.

Thanks for any ideas you have.

 

They are probably expensive but my Toyota dealer had some advertised next to the parts counter the last time I was there.

 

I never thought toyota made them for the Taco. Perhaps there are some that would fit. Ill check.

I see a ton of companies make them but they are "off" brands such a Pyle, Visionik, etc.

 

you can get some from ebay, some of my friends bought some from there. No problems and good prices.

I have an eclipse AVN6620, and they sell the monitors specifically for the HU. They run off the DVD player in the HU, so I'm guessing your looking for something similar to what CJH9980 posted above, only in stock.

all you going need is to run power to the monitors and by a video splitter

this the one i use in my Scion.

They have them on www.trdparts4u.com. They are a pit expensive but I think it's not a bad deal. They already have the DVD players in the headrest. I will probably get these when I eventually have kids.

 

$1600? wow thats expensive. I'm sure you could go to your local car stereo shop and get it cheaper than that.
