Indeed, sir. Utilized the jackstand method to balance.

Thank you! Time will heal and the soreness will go away. The drs and everyone said I'm healing like the best they've seen, I'm not sure if they are being honest or they say that to everyone to make them feel good. It felt really weird, but good, today driving for the first time in 3 weeks.

 If he ever gets to FL I'll put him to work fetching coconuts.

    Depends on what you prefer.
    I like the Big Boys
    Some like the cherry tomatoes.
    Mrs Gritto hates 'em all.

I tell her, what about pizza sauce, ketchup, salsa, like that?
You have no problem with them.
    That's different, she says.

Man, I could go for a vine ripened tomato right now.
The ones at the grocery store just don't do it.
I might have to stop at a farm stand tomorrow.

They put me in my own room, which had a big screen, tablet to order meals, control the lights and window curtains, etc. I kept falling asleep but I went through just about every movie they had listed. Other than being visited every 4 hours, they treated me pretty well.

A friend highly recommended the particular surgeons, and they were covered under my insurance. NYU built the building a few years ago where they did the surgery, and the recovery rooms are just a few floors above. So everything is still fairly new and well set up.

They look so bad right now with the gap, it has been almost two months since I've had them done, right before I left FL. I was going to have them done here in my hometown before surgery but she was booked out into the time I was going to be in NYC so... hopefully tomorrow I can get her to schedule me in soon or I'll have to go out of town, or order the stuff and do it myself.
