Nothing in a bind here. You just can’t seem to get it that something that a person DOES NOT WANT OR NEED has NO VALUE to that person. But again, keep acting like your way is the only way and I’ll keep enjoying my truck and laughing at people like you that need to push their opinions on others to make themselves feel better.

Just because you don't want a better braking system doesn't mean spending that money on a fake hood scoop instead is a good idea.

I'm willing to bet you didn't even know there was a difference between the trims, you just saw a hood scoop and signed.

Okay, if you say so. I’ve been on the third gen section since it came out in 2015 and I’ll put my knowledge about this gen against you talking out your ass any day. I’ve owned 3 of them, so I have more than enough info to make an informed decision. But we can just end this convo here, since your comprehension is lacking and I have better things to do than deal with a troll.

The fact that you paid money for a Sport shows that this is untrue.

I'm always amazed at the people that get all worked up if you don't like what they like. They are insufferable imbeciles not worth your time.

Yep. Some folks just can’t seem to understand that people have different needs and different priorities and different tastes. Got to like their truck, got to like their beer, got to like their cut of steak, etc. Having different opinions, wants, needs, desires is all good. Attacking others choices is sad and pathetic. Glad I’m not the only one that sees that.

This thread gives me a frikin’ headache. PLUS it is obvious some are here to just fight regardless.

    :smack:

Let’s end this crap. Buy an SR5. On the way out of the dealer stop in parts dept. Pick up a bunch of Sport and Off Road logos and badges. Swap them out when the situation calls for it. Going camping, pop on the OR. Out for dinner, bam Sport logo.

    TLDR; Get the OR

The locker is handy in all sorts of situations; snow, mud, sand, etc (and a warranty item). Who wants a hood scoop that does nothing anyway? If it's in your budget, I'm hard pressed to understand how you would have buyer's remorse.

If you want a real transmission and a closer to normal and useful sized bed the Sport is the only option. I'll skip a locker for a transmission that actually works.

I went with the Off Road even though I would be doing 99.8% daily street and hwy driving

The 2021 off road handles well on the street. Haven’t driven the sport to compare, unfortunately. What I can say about the off road on the street is that it can sometimes feel maybe a tiny bit stiff to me if the road has no flaws (not uncomfortably so though), but if the road has potholes or anything, the off road just floats over those and I am surprised by how little I feel them. For some reason it almost seems like I feel a smooth street more than a torn up one…

Get the Offroad. That rear locker will get you into/out of more places than that skewp will.

I thought both the Offroad and Sport share the same transmission? I also thought they both had the same size bed as well, short or long.

I’m with you on the pothole bit. I think I live in the pothole capital of North America so the OR comes in handy!

You can only get a manual with a DCSB OR.

Ok, didn't know you were referring to the manual. The beds are different sizes?:
