I hear if the kids think they will get left at the end of the trail to walk home, if they don’t behave, they tend to be angels. :anonymous:

Any of you guys wire up a 12v plug in the bed of your truck? I have a pretty good idea of my layout, but curious if 20ft of 10 awg will get all the way back to the cubbies.

Had to sell my 17 Tacoma for a tow rig in order to pull my new home. Still here for a bit to keep in touch.
I suppose it would all depend on route. I always go long and trim it down later.

An 18' antenna cable was just long enough to enter at the front of my passenger door, run along the frame, and come up out of the taillight at the top of the tailgate. You will be cutting it close with 20', but it should work, if you stay on the driver side the whole way. (depending on routing)

If I remember correctly I think I initially bought 25 ft of 10 ga when I wired up my power panel in the drivers side bed pocket, if not close to it. I did 2 runs of 10ga from my fuse panel by the battery down the drivers side (1 for each bank) and it was plenty for 1 run but not enough for 2 so I had to go out and get more wire. Should be fine if you’re just doing 1 plug or set of plugs.

Nice panel man! I was originally going to do the same thing, but got the Dometic hardwire kit as a gift, so just going to make due with that now. It comes with a fused 20ft length of wire, by I also have about 15ft of good commercial grade wire I can splice it to add length, which sounds like what I’ll have to do. Appreciate the input fellas. After 2 weeks in the desert my wife and I decided to go the refrigerator route soon.

You won’t regret it! We picked up an Iceco TR45 on the ih8mud group buy last month and are absolutely loving it.

We were the envy of the group last weekend when we still had cold beer on day 4 instead of a cooler full of water and soggy food. Also love being able to pack it a day or two ahead of time before trips and then just bring it in the house to plug in and slowly unpack at my leisure when I get home.

I wish I would have seen the GB. I’m leaning either VL45 or JP40 as of right now. You can get 12% off all over YouTube channels, but waiting for one of the flash 20% off opportunities. Right now I can get one for $466 free shipping, but hoping to see it around $420 again. Got a Jackery 500 to use as pass through charging while driving and then use as the house battery while parked for the night. Pretty pumped to get the fridge at some point.

For sure! Post Canyon doesn't get crowed like Browns, so no limit on this meet up on number of attendees.

Quite a few things at this point..
I'm getting a weird clock/pop sound when I turn my wheel to the left or right in the list couple days. Any suggestions what it could be? Anyone interested in helping my diagnose in person?

With no other reference or video, I’d go with a CV axel/joint also. Turning and clicking is very often the result of a joint binding.
Edit: saw your post in the 3rd gen section. Maybe it isn’t a CV

I'll be coming out tomorrow to Post Canyon. Maybe some of you guys can help me pinpoint where the sound is coming from? I have terrible hearing due to my tinnitus. An extra set of ears would be amazing.

I'm also taking the truck to Automotive Outfitters after work today where my suspension was installed at. They're gonna wrench around on it to see if anything is just loose, so hopefully that'll do it
