I wasn’t gonna wait and fight for another set of scs again their nice but not worth that. These were cheaper than the Mickey Thompson bullet holes I was gonna get lol.

Guys I tell ya. The writing is on the wall with this company. Got word they are looking to hire another designer in Florida. So that would make 2 new hires but they still say there isn't money for raises for us 2 designers up here.

    From AlabamaWX

AN OCEAN OF HUMIDITY: A very moist airmass lingers across Alabama and the Deep South this morning, and our weather won’t change much through tomorrow. Warm, very humid, occasionally cloudy, and scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms developing. We have some rain early this morning over North Alabama, but most of the showers will come during the afternoon and evening hours… highs today and tomorrow will remain mostly in the mid 80s. The average high for Birmingham on July 8 is 91.

THE ALABAMA WEEKEND: Precipitable water values are expected to come down a bit over the weekend, meaning more sunshine and fewer showers. Look for partly sunny days, and the chance of any one spot getting a shower or thunderstorm Saturday and Sunday will be in the 25-35 percent range. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s.

NEXT WEEK: A passing upper trough will bring an increase in rain and thunderstorms Monday… the rest of the week should feature some fairly routine summer weather, although temperatures will remain below average with highs generally in the upper 80s. When we say routine summer weather, that means partly sunny, humid days with random, scattered, mostly afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms.

ELSA: Tropical Storm Elsa is about 90 miles northwest of Charleston, South Carolina early this morning with sustained winds of 40 mph. It will roll up the eastern seaboard over the next 36 hours and will bring potential for flooding and a few isolated tornadoes.

A non-tropical disturbance over the far western Gulf of Mexico continues to produce lots of rain for the Texas coast, otherwise the rest of the Atlantic basin is very quiet, and additional tropical storm formation is not expected through the weekend.

ON THIS DATE IN 2003: What may be the world’s highest dew point temperature was recorded at Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, in the Persian Gulf. A dew point of 95 degrees was recorded at 3 PM while the air temperature was 108 degrees. The apparent temperature at that time would have been 172 degrees.

I knew 2 years ago this would eventually happen. The company that buys the company you work for NEVER has use for the employees. They only want the name.

It’s a vicious cycle for sure. Same thing’s been happening to my father in law at his company. I can understand trimming the fat, but I don’t get why these new folks always wanna come in and let all the good staff who made that company what it was take a hike.

Hate to hear that. Out of curiosity, what type of design work do you do?

I guess they just don't want to pay the salaries. They can cut us out, hire new and pay less. That's fine though whatever. I know for a fact they can't hire anybody that has the knowledge I do. 15 years experience, you pick up a lot.
