Yeah, I got it last summer. It's a nice motorcycle but I just never felt comfortable riding it, and actually have more fun on my little Ninja EX250s. Plus, I need to downsize and use the funds to continue fixing up the little EX250 project bike I got in June.

I'm gonna say you're making a wise choice. Ride what is most comfortable and most fun for you. When I rode dirt bikes, I had the most fun on small bore 2-strokes. When I went street, I had more fun on the Grom then I did my bigger dual sport. Like you, I've downsized to one bike. I ride mostly alone, around town for fun or running errands. Chose a Honda CB300R as my daily. Could have picked up a MT-03 from the same dealer. Less money to buy, and more power than the Honda in the 300 segment. But whatever you own needs to capture your imagination and hold your interest.

That KTM 300 XCW-TPI that entered the Iron Butt Rally ended up with a DNF but still finished over 7,000 miles

    Per ADVRider article:

    • Michael Boge ended up a DNF on his 2019 KTM 300 XCW-TPI. A disappointment, maybe, but he earned 72,513 points over 7,371.4 miles, which is far more than any sane person would do on a two-stroke trailbike

Finally getting caught up on Red Bud replays. Say what you will, but Dylan Ferrandis is an absolute animal. And boy do I love seeing two Yamis battle it out for a ship on the big bikes just like the good ol days. This year’s outdoors have been a breath of fresh air.
