Most units around here seem small than this one, but probably not I guess.

Well two days in a row of working on the Tacoma, maybe I'll make it three. Doing all the fitup work on the frame reinforcement is tiresome but it's straight forward at least. Anyone have a good product for stripping the stock frame paint quickly. Seems to load up flap discs and wire wheels aren't quite strong enough unless is all rust... And my truck isn't quite Indiana levels of toast.

Their track record is something to look up if you haven't already been informed.

@se7enine (not sure why the message isn't quoting right now, weird.)

Yeah I remember seeing that heat chart. Now I'm just trying to figure out the reason. Fluid seems fine, no leaks underneath either.
My RPMs for gear changes seemed a bit higher as well. Might be my imagination but when I tap the throttle it shoots up quick, more so when I'm low speed (feels more sensitive). Has just seemed off on this trip. Only thing done the day before leaving was having the shop fix my AC. (Which is also making an annoying humming noise I need to figure out, doesn't seem to be the blower motor, sounds outside of the cab and is throttle responsive)

(Just checked oil too and its a little bit low.)

Just got home and storm is a comin' so no work outside today.

Low isn't ideal, but make sure your TV cable is properly adjusted too. There's a little ferrule crimped on and it's supposed to be "x" amt exposed from the rubber sleeve to show proper adjustment

Okay thank you, I'll check that. Didn't even think of it.
(Any rule of of thumb for how much exposed?)

    Awesome, thanks again for these.
Not enough time to dig in but I ran out and had enough time to open the hood and check the throttle cable, feels a little slack to touch, and tested idle real quick, its about 1200 at start and takes a few minutes to get down to 675 or so. Throttle response seems a tiny bit hesitant too, but the rain started so I had to come in. Will continue when Elsa blows by.
