You forgot off-road models need crawl control to creep through mall parking lots. Rear Lockers to lock the truck in its parking space.

    Friday too soon?

I dug myself in as deep as possible on purpose to see if I could get out.

"throttle control and sawing a wheel back and forth" is not skill, its the most rudimentary skill for off-roading. I got to a point were I was so deep that neither the CC or locker could do anything.

Edit: maybe the tracking boards could have helped.

Crawl control has only worked for me while climbing steep hills. I climbed those hill on my own before, but letting CC take over the gas made it so much easier. While its not needed, if you were ever bit off more than you can chew and found yourself going up a hill that made you too nervous CC may end up saving you.

But that’s better than slapping in some electronic knob to “assist” off road. But just remember the sport is so much better that it needs that bigger sway bar to help support its huge nuts.

I can see my scoop while looking at the road, to see the dumb knob I have to take my eyes off the road, scoop for the win.

    Ha! You wish...:D

Funny story. All my vehicles were black and MTs except for one silver 2003 AT accord. I hated that thing with a passion and couldn’t wait to get rid of it, ha! Silver just looks so plain to me, way easier to keep clean though.

I have a black Tacoma. That shit scratches and swirls if you look at it with an attitude. I wish the government would make them illegal. :D

I agree, that’s how black is though unfortunately. 10 or so years ago they applied good oil based paints, now it’s all water based stuff, very soft paint. Ceramic coating really helps with swirls and light scratches.

My truck is 3 years old and I take it camping quite a bit in the summers. Still looks great, but that’s because I spend a lot of time taking care of the paint. I love how black looks in the sun. Couple months ago, I actually spent 10 hrs cut polishing, ceramic coating, top coating, glass shield, etc...

Same. Detailing cars is a hobby of mine. I take great care of my 2nd Gen. Even though I don’t drive it much anymore, its paint receives more maintenance than my Coors Light.
