A quick stop into my favorite LGS netted me some goodies today. Anyone want to guess what’s in the box? Here’s a hint, it doesn’t go with the other box.

Did you buy it on Amazon? I'd wager it's likely fake

Buy from a legitimate gun shop

Dual illuminated RMRs are probably my favorite...I've got 2 and 2 of the LED and I definitely prefer the dual

I wont buy anything like that on Amazon just for that reason

I pretty much assume anything I'm getting from there is junk

They’re good enough for the Chinese military. I’ve warned fools on here before about that but :jerkoff:. People just want cheap and easy and it’s ok if it funds an opposing countries Army, because everyone else is doing it. :tinfoilhat:
China has never cared about intellectual property. Basically if you can reengineer it, you can sell it. Americans will buy it and argue all day that it’s “just as good.”

I could care less what others choose to buy, but how can there even be such a thing as fake Chinese knockoff red dots? Are the Chinese counterfeiting their own products?

    Honest to God question.

It’s probably the same ones but they didn’t make Holosuns cut during QC and still end up in the hands of shady sellers

that's not the issue to me. my issue is people buying real ACOG's off of wish.com or Amazon and claiming they are the same. Sure, your $80 ACOG is real and made in the same factory. I honestly heard a guy say that to me last night.

I was replying to a post about a "fake" holosun. We've really jumped the shark when people are actually complaining about knockoffs of Chinese knockoffs.

World is chock full of morons. If someone believes they're buying an actual ACOG for $80, oh well. Trijicon should sue the shit out of L2 for their Eotech con game.

About 7 or 8 years ago before prime days Amazon's inventory software marked down acogs, night vision, thermal, and all sorts of gun stuff to like 10% of actual retail price. Yes they were all 100% real. It sparked a huge thread on arf.com. It was a one or 2 night thing and then it never happened again.

Yep bought off Amazon, none of my LGS had any micro RDS in stock. I'm not a baller by any means and weighed the pros and cons of the different MRDS and really liked the Eotech like reticle I am used to as well as shake awake and the price point.

The good thing about buying from Scamazon is their return policy is great and despite it being past the 30 days I told them it's a fake and they issued return instructions and will be issuing a full refund upon its drop off at UPS.

An RMR will likely be its replacement, which sucks because I was eyeing a T2 for another rifle.

Now finding an adapter to put an RMRcc where a 507k was is the challenge.

the real challenge is finding a plate for a Nikon Spur, since NO ONE ever made them. Tried to mount my Spur on my new 17 MOS, and nothing works.

Made a small score today. 32 cents a round, which is about my limit. Snagged an inch lb torque wrench too, for them pesky little screws and such...:D

Ammo is cool, id never use that torque wrench for anything. Better off hand torquing.

I use the wheeler non digital torque driver. Since I run through scopes faster than the baby sitters boyfriend when the car pulls up, i use it a quite a bit.

That said, I don’t think the wheeler is super accurate, or vortex sucks because I broken a few of their scopes @ 18 in lbs. The only scope brand I’ve had problems with in that regard. :notsure:
