I’ll be ready to go up there soon. I got a call today and my HC bumper is made. He’s going to trim 2” off it to match the flares and it will be heading my way in the next day or so.

511CD986-A8BD-4CFF-A6A6-0EFE645A0030.jpg I think I was given some bad cords the the China Wall. I backed out from somewhere in the black circle to a spot that was a 9 pt turn around driving up the bank and backing a little off the edge.

If I remember, once you get up the hill and past where you turned around it gets kind of narrow and some decent size dips then it opens up some and you get to the China Wall area and from there the road out is really nice and has some great camping spots and a couple of FS places with vault toilets if I remember right.

If you can come to it from the other direction it would be good driving and I doubt if you get a lot of trucks there, I think you will mainly get side by sides from Conconully and bikes doing the BDR.

i may ditch my TC UCA. Sick and tired of the uniball squeak that never goes away. has anyone tried the delta-joints yet?

if im not mistaken they can be swapped into anything that takes a 1" uniball

I've got them in my Icon UCAs and I've been happy so far after the 8k miles or so I have on them. Just make sure you get the right ones, there are 2 different options for either Icon UCAs or retrofit for Camburg/TC/Etc.

I am sick of my huge aluminum bumper lol. I am thinking of chopping or switch to high clearance. Am I going to regret not having it up there?
    definitely dude!

you should be able to put deltas on them. But for the squeak... do you ever lube the uniball at all? I used to and I think that was bad. After replacing them I just leave them alone and no squeak.

Firestone lifetime alignment. I go to the one in Renton and they don't mind doing custom alignments. Pay once and get em aligned as many times as you want.

Been running them in my Icon UCA's for awhile now (2 years?) and been happy enough with them. No squeaking or anything. I just grease them every 5k miles (at oil change time)..

I never lubed mine, just tried hosing the crap off them from time to time and still had them start squeaking. When i swapped over to the delta's I cut open one of the old ball joints and the PTFE liner was just shot and gross. Quite a bit of dust/dirt had gotten to it which Im sure is why it as squeaking. Lubing probably would have just stopped the squeaking but not really solved anything.

constantly, i can get 1 maybe 2 weeks out of them before they start squeaking again. These ones were put in about 1-1/2 years ago

The thing I found that got rid of the squeek before I finally replaced them was using qtips and a plastic scribe tool to scrape all the gunk out around the top. That would help for a little while but it will always come back when crap builds up in there again

I’ve been looking for my 05 I traded in because I left 6 CD’s in the CD player. I found it for sale and offered to bring them all my receipts if I could get my CD’s back. $21.5k. I knew they would do that.
