I’m excited for you and am really curious how you’re going to make the tires clear with this kit. At 2” forward anything bigger than a 32” tire requires cutting out a ton of the inner fender and relocating lots of stuff under the hood

I'm prepared for some tubbing to fit the 37s. I'll post pics here and on my T4R build thread.

With 37’s @ 2” forward you’re going to have to complete remove the inner fenders, move the battery to the rear, move the fuse box etc

Mine's about 2" forward right now with a plus 3.5" kit on an FJ with your LCA brackets. Clearance is reasonably good. Front's strapped at 14-7/8" of travel and clears lock to lock before trimming. I could coax out another 5/8"-1" of compression travel by cutting the inner fender on 35" toyos. My tires technically sit slightly outside the inner fenders.

Wiper fluid reservoir is already relocated. Battery can come up a bit and I think it'll clear. I'm not willing to compromise uptravel tho, so if it has to go it has to go. I can't wait to tear into it.

On a 4th gen 4Runner? Stock width yea, but not with the +2.75" extra width. Battery and fuse box both have plenty of room to be moved up. This is my first long travel setup tho, so I really don't know wtf I'm talking about. I do have plenty of metal on hand to do what I gotta do.

I’ve done quite a few trucks with 2” and 4” over kits pushed 2” forward and if you actually want uptravel and tire clearance lock to lock you’re gonna have to cut the inner fenders out. Everything I’ve done is with 35’s too so 37’s will obviously be worse.

Thanks for the info. Whatever it takes. Wouldn't make sense to spend big on this setup then limit it to keep the inner fenders.

Isnt that the selling point of their kit that it will clear big tires without a ton a cutting?

This^^ as far as I've read and seen on his threads, he's not running big up travel numbers. It's his down travel that he really raves about.

To clear 40’s with out cutting the entire inner fenders out and the back of the headlights at 2” forward you will have almost no uptravel.

As for dropout you will be limited by the CV and you will not be able to get anymore than a 934 allows. So the moral of the story is you aren’t getting more then 6” of travel with big tires.

    $10k+for 6” of travel...

They use RCVs also which still use the inner tulip.

Oh I ran across some crazy modified 934s and axles to allow even more articulation but not sure if what they did would loose too much strength. It was pretty cool
