There's over one hundred sets of stairs on campus, every one of them utilitarian so this'll have to do.

Oops, sorry. I was scrolling through reading and not paying enough attention to who was saying what. Your reply felt like an answer to the question "How did you get that shot" which I now see you asked. Same question applies to @Stuck Sucks, did you take the photo this week?

    Non entry-
This is leading down to our Sky Deck* system which is a wire mesh structure that you walk on 20ft+ above our tv studios. Most of the lights and cable work (winches) are hung from up here.

This is used instead of having to always use lifts to get up to the lighting grid 20ft+ and hang the lights and winches. It is much easier to change out a faulty light standing next to it instead of in a bucket lift trying to hang it. But we still end up spending plenty of time up in a bucket lift.

It might take you a little bit of time to get use to walking on it, but like they say. " Just don't look down" lol

Few other photos added of the sky deck. This is studio Z.

I am blown away by the entries for this week's challenge. I didn't expect nearly this many quality photos. Nice job everyone.

Very cool! I love seeing behind the scenes stuff like this!

You're giving me flashbacks to being up on the catwalk at the Fargodome to get the lights upgraded for the NDSU football games.

    Catwalk 1.jpg

    Catwalk 2.jpg

It's 160' from the catwalk to the floor. That's a lady pushing a 4'x8' flatbed cart. in the second picture.
