Lots of jeeps in Ocean shores Washington for the 4th and spotted a ton of Tacomas too. These were on the beach. The deer just walk around there like they are domesticated too.

I actually counted 29. They are on every door handle and there are multiple duplicate badges stacked on each front fender.

Got some bar mounts and quick fists to try mounting things to the GFC frame. Seems to work pretty well. Got the poop shovel and ladder mounted. Need to get two more pairs to do the axe and fire extinguisher. Also finally going this evening to pick up a special surprise Ive been wanting for years…

Got the TSB/ECU update this week. Holy hell the difference is staggering. I don't even use the ECT button anymore. Smoother shifting, no more hunting gears, better acceleration and throttle response...what have I been missing out on? Feels exactly like the 2021 rental I had in Alaska two weeks ago.

Nice. That looks beefy and solid. Like the idea of no support poles too

I like the idea of no support poles as well for most situations, but would definitely enjoy one support pole for staking just in case it gets a bit windy or rainy.

    A very cool setup!

I’m debating what kind of awning setup I should get for the runner… For those who have met me in person you already know I am basically see-through/paper colored but now essentially every medication I am on says “avoid sun avoid sun avoid sun” and so I want to still be able to get outdoors to the range for shooting but not have to be covered head to toe in a jumpsuit and slathered with sunscreen the consistency of mud.

I have the advantage of being able to leave the tailgate up as a form of shade already but I don’t know if it makes more sense to get an easy up or something, or go ham on a big comfy awning.

those awnings look awesome when in use, but with the weight and size i'm assuming they make a bunch of noise at higher speeds?

It has a support pole velcro'd to the underside of every other beam. Then they provide additional support poles in a bag for the beams that dont have ones attached in case you want to have one at every beam. Ill get better pics tomorrow when I have it open again.
