Double check the tractor will go onto the u-haul trailer, they are just two tracks for tires to line up on instead of a solid deck.

Other than that I think those trailers weigh about 2k but you should be fine for a short trip with surge brakes on the trailer especially. Just hang in the right lane and don’t get in a rush with 2.7 power

does the trailer have hydraulic surge brakes? if no, then you are gonna have a tough time stopping.

i couldnt imagine hauling 4k with your rig.

    I vote hard no.

Most of their larger trailers are going to have the surge brakes as I know our large trailers do and I believe so did Penske's when we rented those (but they may not have, it was a couple years back). Should be okay, but take it easy on emergency stops

The U-haul auto transport weighs 2210 lbs and has hydraulic surge brakes. Your hitch will have a specification sticker, they can range from 3500-8000 pounds capacity. If the hitch is rated high enough U-haul can rent you the proper draw bar.

Check the rental rates carefully, sometimes a 1 way rental costs quite a bit more than returning the trailer to where you picked it up.

You can see the deck dimensions here :
    https://www.uhaul.com/Trailers/Auto-Transport-Rental/AT/

EDIT: Your 4 banger is rated for 3500 pounds by Toyota, better off to rent a truck too. In the grand scheme of things it really isn't that expensive.
Do it once - do it safe.

    Ya!

I just finished swapping them out and took it for a test ride.

I think it's got weak pump yet. Fuck!

That's a task for another day.

You boys ever get into servicing pressure washers? I have a customer that needed there’s serviced…. Let’s see. Poured gas into tank, gas ran out of carb. Rebuilt the carb, hooked water up and pump manifold was cracked, ordered and installed manifold. Ran it some and pump seemed “tight” ugh now what…. Found plastic plug on side of pump. Drained some smelly gray looking oil out of this pump and found that non-detergent 30 weight oil will work just fine. Did a couple drain and fills and now seems “like new” :fingerscrossed: 150.00 bucks for said service…. 400.00 for new pressure washer… let’s see how it’ll last

got the wheel motors replaced. Found out the right motor was original and the left was a replacement already. After test driving I still have a chatter in the right side when switching directions . Pretty sure there is something wrong with the pump. It doesn't seem to have any power issues, but of course I'm very flat so I don't know if its really weak or not.

Gonna order a pump and swap the thing out.

More pics and ramblings to fallow.

Motor on the right is an original and I believe there was nothing wrong with it. The left was replaced at some time.[IMG]

The motor on the left is one of the new ones I swapped in. it is a happy medium in size.

I ordered them from China and the fit was perfect. They seemed to drive the mower just fine.

[IMG] Obviously I'm annoyed that I still have the chatter on the right side.

I need to autopsy the old filter.

There was a quite a bit of visible metal as I was pouring out the old oil.

I hope it was doing its job and kept that metal entrapped in the filter media. I'll get pics when I cut it open.

    Random pic of hub removal.

An air chisel with a blunt anvil makes removing these hubs a joy. No puller is needed.

Battery may be replacing lots of air tools, but I think its gonna be a while before they can top 30 impacts per second.[IMG]

I like using plain old starting fluid for degreasing. It's a 2$/ can cheaper than brake clean.

[IMG] I almost wonder if its the same thing?

Sure smells the same and brake clean does help start stubburn engines as well.
