    Looking for some feedback/advice from folks who have used BulletProof Hitches. One of the main reasons I got my Taco was to have the option of being able to tow my Honda Goldwing when I can't ride it to where I want to go. I don't have my own trailer so I will be renting UHaul utility type motorcycle trailers when I need them. Because of this my thought was that a hitch with an adjustable drop/rise would work out best. I was looking at the BulletProof 2-inch medium duty with the 4-inch drop/rise. That seems to fit the measurements on the BulletProof website based on how they said to measure (my truck is stock height). Combined weight on the UHaul 5x9 motorcycle trailer and the bike would be around 2200 lbs, so I don't feel that I need a WDH. For those of you who've used them, are you happy with them, and do you think the hitch I'm considering is a decent choice for what I want to do? Thanks!

    I haven't used the Bullet Proof hitch, but it looks solid. It's rated to 14,000 lbs. and is Class IV, so it'll definitely handle the 2,200 lbs. you're looking to move around. Go for it!

    Lol go to uhaul, spend fifty bucks on a ball and hitch and move on. I have used mine hundreds of times. No problems.

    IMO adjustable hitches are overrated. I've had a 2" drop/rise hitch in my kit for forever and never had a problem. Does my trailer occasionally have a rake? yes. Is that a problem? No.

    Walmart/Home Depot/ local farm supply store will have plenty of hitches available for what you need to do.
