Yes vs a vertical uniball which limits steering angle but has “no” limitations on vertical travel.

Yeah I know what it is, it's sweet. I just went off of bolt orientation since I didn't know any better.

The LCA kit has many benefits way past pushing the tires forward.

I spent a lot of time writing detailed descriptions on the website for each product and the benefits associated with them

I don't see a rubber bump stop on the shaft of that shock. There's another 1/2" of shaft.

Also, get a set of durobumps.

If I’m getting anything it’ll be air bumps. I was window shopping this morning.

I don’t doubt it. It doesn’t make sense for me right now though. My LCA tabs aren’t bent or mangled and I have Taco Tabs to hold the alignment. The biggest draw for me was pushing the tire forward, but with the 2.25” kit doing that already I didn’t jump on the pivot kit. Am I correct in thinking you can’t use the pivot kit spacers to push the tire forward with the LT kits?

Harry is full of lies. I had the big canvas bag with the $ sign on the side full of cash at the shop and he refused saying it was all his pleasure and honored to be allowed to work on this truck.

You can run the LT kit with the arm pushed all the way forward if you have a slide rack and are willing to do the work to the inner fenders.

Both of these trucks are pushed the full 1 7/8” forward

That’s good to know. I’m anxious to see if I gain any clearance from the firewall at full lock with the LT kit only. I’m not sure how it works out geometrically with scrub radius and all involved.

Both of those statements are wrong.

If you're relying on the little rubber bump on the shock as a bump stop you've done something wrong and are barrowing time with high interest rates. The rubber bump is not measured when discussing shock travel.

With LT only you will just be 1/8” shy of what the pivots would do. Pivots helped me big time with dirty sevens at the fire wall. But boned me hard up front. All things considered the pivots were 100% worth the effort for the gains and I wouldn’t hesitate to do it again.

Nice. I’m having a hard time visualizing the tire moving forward with the increased track width from the LT kit, but I think I get it now. Since it’s the hub moving out and not something like a spacer pushing it out I’m guessing it keeps things tighter when turning. I went with new wheels with less offset, but am running a spacer until the kit comes in. Removing the spacer and the LT kit pushing the hub out should be better for clearing even though it’ll be an increase of 1” track width per side.

Usually, going wider causes more interference with the firewall. But with the LT kit pushing 7/8” forward that shouldn’t be an issue. But if you’re on 35’s get ready to cut because moving things forward opens up a whole new can of worms.

How does the slide rack figure in? The new geometry puts additional strain on the rack?
