I have been using The neoprene seat covers from Costco In my 2nd gen for years. They look like the expensive ones and fit nice and tight. I change them out about once a year to keep them fresh. 20 bucks can’t beat it. That’s just the front. Being an access cab I have the back area set up for my dog.

Going boat shopping this fall. Anyone here have any experience with outboard vs inboard/outboard?

Im looking to get a deck boat. I wanna lean towards Outboard for maintenance sake but i can be convinced otherwise

 

They Are money pits . Just have friends that have boats

 

im aware. lol. My tacoma is done so on to another money pit.

I want the ability to go on the water when i feel like it.

 

Then get a jet ski they're cheaper haha

 

if i had my own boat i'd be going on the water on the regular lol. waiting for friends to go and then getting an invite isnt worth the headache.

I saw a jet ski for sale that would do 90 on the water, think it was an 1800... they wanted 18,500 for it... whoa

As a former owner of a few boats I’d have to say, the fewer people on your boat… the better.

 

im with ya. I remember a few lake trips with a handful of friends. It felt like a small party on the water. Perfect for me. The reason i want a 17-20'. That should keep the number down to 6-8 including myself.

who knows, if i see a good deal on a 17' i'd buy it. Ultimately its for me and the wife and a dog.
