Do you happen to have a link for the knob or know which one it is?

@MGMDesertTaco Unity 8.0 in the dash, HD6915 in front and HD-6EX.2 in the back. Really impressive, especially considering the price point. Need to figure out the tuning, but with minimal eq adjustment (just tuning by ear) it already sounds great.

@Renden it makes a HUGE difference, primarily for rattles of course (not so much for killing road noise etc, not designed for that). Also use butyl rope between the crossbars in the door and the outer door skin, and seal up all the holes in the inner skin as much as you can. I do prefer Resonix cld, you don’t have to use as much as with Dynamat for the same results so it ends up costing about the same but is less work and less weight.

West Kendall Toyota…out of Florida. They had a good price and free shipping, but never again. They actually wanted me to pay shipping to return a rack that they sent me without the hardware kit, but they quickly reconsidered that.

The parts specialist that I worked with was actually pretty nice, but he had to ask his manager for approval for everything. And the manager was apparently not customer service oriented.

So two roof racks, both shipped without a hardware kit. Ended up receiving the hardware kit in a separate shipment, but turned out the rack was also missing some pre-installed hardware (that’s not part of the hardware kit). That’s when they stopped returning calls and email.

Snagged a free bike rack from my neighbor today. Just need to clean it up a bit, fresh coat of paint and some new hardware and its good as new.

Also got some fishing rod holders for my bike, that way I can hit more spots on the river faster.

You'd think they check the items before they shipped, but it could an issue with their supplier. I was curious as I'm thinking about ordering the oem trd headlights and doing the conversion. When I do, I'll probably just order from my local dealer if they can do a price match. I've heard some stories of tabs being broken during shipping and issues with exchanges. It's hit or miss these days with customer service.

I was told by the shop that did mine that regular tint has metal in it so it will hinder cell phone reception. The slightly more expensive ceramic tint does not.

Better UV protection, reflects more heat, has a bit darker of a color than standard tint, doesn't affect phone/radio signals like standard tint can, and it also lasts longer/has better durability. The only con is it's more expensive. My DCLB was $400 for ceramic all around with a lifetime warranty against fading and bubbling.

I had gone to 75 ratio tires on my 2nd gen Tacoma and it only rubbed going full depressed during a hard turn. Going to stay with stock this go around.

Interesting. I noticed for the first time in almost 8k miles a little wetness on the passenger side floor mat and the carpet near the mat was a little damp on one place. I had just finished a 300 mile trip, was raining some at times. I had the AC on, no recirc, and the temp dial about 1/3rd clockwise. Usually have the AC on near full CCW cold with no recirc and never had that happen before that I was aware of.

niceeeeee. I'm trying to get the combo pattern lens or fog/wide lens but they're always sold out. I have the driving pattern at the moment because that was the only option available a few months ago

luckily for me they sell replacement lenses for $30 a piece

I have searched the web via Google for any issues similar to this with 2016-2021 Tacoma's. I did find a few with every year model on Tacoma World Forum and some of them were clogged drain lines but the ones without clogged drain lines like mine, no one has come to any conclusions as to how to stop it. I do not wish my dash torn apart to become the next guinea pig on this issue. It seems to take a while before it happens as if the capacity of the condensed water has to get full before it leaks. I have tried all sorts of things to see if "I" was making this happen but nothing I do with the controls should ever make it leak inside. Just in one spot where it leaks. I have started putting a microfiber towel under there to soak it up so the carpet doesn't keep getting drenched in that spot.
