I just got my new Weathertech liners but it looks like they sent me the wrong size for the rear of my access cab. The box was labeled correctly but the liner doesn't fit. The liner is 14" across at the tunnel area and the truck is only 10.5" there. See pics.... I sent McNeil an e-mail and hopefully they can rectify this quickly.

Although it looks like it would fit if not for the rear console. Is this a known fitment issue? Do I just need to trim these to fit?

I have the double cab but the liner is a tight fit. It kinda goes underneath the back of the frontseat.

Seat area is tight but is a good fit. The problem is the console/tunnel. That dimension is 4" smaller than the liner. See also my edit above.

I'm not sure about the trimming part. Other liners and mats can be trimmed but the Weathtechs should be sized to fit. If I was you I'd wait until they contact you or I'd try and call them if there is a number for customer service.

From the thread, they say the 2009's tunnel area was redesigned. So apparently the rear mats only fit 2005-2008. There is no option for a 2009 Access cab.

If you have an '09,there isn't a listing for rear mats on the access cab or the DC.
I called and asked Weathertech if a rear floorliner was available for my '09 and was told yes.I ordered then.
Always call if you don't see the part on their site.
I learned after the same thing happened to me on another vehicle awhile back.

    Thanks, Rob

I noticed that last night that Weathertechs site doesn't list a back liner for 09.

I solved my problem. I just removed that stupid rear console. 4 bolts and a minute of time.... That makes for a much more useable storage space and the 2005-2008 Weathertech rear liner fits perfect. Now the golf clubs have room to lie almost flat. I am going to make a cover for the opening that removing the console leaves between the 2 storage bins. When I do I'll post a separate thread with pictures.

I have WeatherTech liners in my '09 Access Cab. You are right about the rear liner not being the right size. I saw only three options:

    1. Wait until they make a rear liner of the right size

    2. Remove the rear center console

    3. Trim the liner to fit

Since I utilize the center console, I opted for #3.

I just called and they (Weathertech) told me that the rear is not yet available for the 2009 Double Cab. Did you get yours yet, and if so did the rear one fit OK ? If so, could you provide the part number that you were sent for the rear ?

    Thanks !!

I got my Weathertechs (front and back) for my 09' doublecab from Cabelas. Fit like a champ.

Pretty sure you just got an uninformed phone person who didn't understand the rear 09' is the same as the earlier ones.

It's the 2009 Access cab that they don't have a rear liner for. The "alien" rear console in the access cab is new and makes the old liner not fit.

got my '09 DC rear mat from LLBean, and no problems. It was listed as an 05-08, but fit the 09 just fine
