I cycled my long travel suspension today so I could correctly set my bump stops as well as do a little bit more trimming. I already tubbed my firewall so all I had to do was a little more trimming up front. Now I have zero rubbing with these 35s.

Finally fixed my annoying recurring overhead console temp & compass display problem. I had re-soldered the resistor connections in the past, but I know that is only a temp fix for the true problem. So I soldered in two parallel resistor circuits, each resistor being 100 ohms. This gets me close enough to the OEM 51 ohms on the wafer-thin resistors that were previously on the board.

    IMG_1043.jpg
Not the prettiest fix but hey, it's functional. It works now. And I think it will for a while. I just used small hobbyist resistors, but judging by the size of the teeny tiny paper thin resistors that were on the board before, I think these will hold up to the watts just fine.
    IMG_1044.jpg
I tested out the PCB first before assembling the whole panel, and she worked! Awesome. Then I threw the panel back together and installed the single screw holding it in place.

Yeah, it's 111 degrees out today. Storms rolling through AZ too, so it feels absolutely disgusting outside.

I wasn't upset about getting that many miles out of them lol

Mine has been the daily since the day I bought it, but I'm not super hard on it. I don't tow and only have it loaded up maybe 3-4 times a year on average.

Yeah that's why I'm not too upset about the caliper issue, I got good life out of the pads for sure

^^Dude nice!! Mine is t working and I wish I had the sparky know-how to fix it:laugh:

Just bent up a piece of aluminum at my shop for my mismatched camper shell, extended the door to fit over my tailgate both for theft deterrent and to help seal. Ended up using this weather stripping that I’ll later replace with a rubber one. Came out decent.

Bought mine at 33k and replaced pads at 90k. Mine’s loaded with cap & tools and the dd. The rotors are still fine.

That is sick! Is that access cab? You take the seats out? What you put on the back?

How much of a difference is the sound deadening for the amount of labor? Does it pay off?

A few mods here and there and counting....
Totally worth it. Sound system sounds better, cabin is quieter, and interior stays cooler. I added the closed cell foam on top of the sound deadener in the doors/roof.

I did Noico and foam on top of that, mostly for looks, to black out behind the panel. It's louder now than with the seats, but I did the back panel a few years ago and don't notice any noise besides the stuff in the panel rattling sometimes

So you did the whole interior? How many hours did you put in or did you do little at a time?

I highly suggest doing it like @outxider . I did 90% of my access cab (Some parts are hard to get to) with black & red nioco. It took me a couple of months due to time constraints and not ordering enough . Honestly you could get it done in a day if you plan accordingly.
