Hi all, can someone post photos of their Lomax Stance in the upright position with the two metal supports on the cab mounts? (Also, if you want to include several more photos of your Lomax I'm good with that too. ) Thanks!!

Im in NC wonder if i can get a discount for local pickup lol. How much are these going for and do they have one for the 6ft bed? Also this cover is not like the mx4 it cant be flipped up to the window to expose the full bed correct?

I have gotten criticism for my cab mount placement. Most people suggest I should have moved them inside the first ridge and had the supports toed inward. But if I did that I would have trouble reaching them from the ground I think. 5'10" for reference, truck is stock ride height.

@907rx7 is there any contact with the window or cab or does the strap act like a strut too? As in how aggro can you drive like that?

Many thanks to Luke @truckalter for the great deal and easy purchasing process on a Lomax!

I opted for the urethane finish and I couldn’t be happier with it. Install process was really easy.

Instructions recommended 1inch clearance gap when choosing the roof bracket placement. I did not have the passenger side strut deployed here so it probably looks close on that side. They are struts, if I had the guess they are 5/32 or 3/16 steel. Barring an accident, I have no concerns with it coming of the roof. There are heavy duty magnets, neodymium I assume, in the roof brackets as well to hold the struts.

No cab contact at all in any of our installs. We haven't tried off roading with the cover in that position but highway speeds, etc are all fine.

Are the edges really bare aluminum? Some of the pictures seem obvious but a lot are hard to tell, looks like it might just be glare. I really like how these covers look but that would really bug me if there was unfinished metal visible around the edges.

I am wondering if this is a qc issue or if that's just how they are?

I believe that matte finish is supposed to be a raw edge and the urethane finish is supposed to be a finished edge. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong. My stance is urethane and there is a bare spot but I don't remember if it came like that or I scuffed it. It's never bothered me.

How does everyone handle the cleaning / maintenance on the flat black covers? Wash and wax? Can you wax them? Talking to the Boss (wifey) about it now after messaging Luke with Truck Alterations.

Thanks Luke @truckalter! The cover was delivered on Sunday, I picked up my new truck from the dealer today, and first thing I did was install the cover. It looks great.

Officially I believe you are correct... I have heard from a couple folks that if you ask they will send a bottle of touchup for the sides... I have never asked them but 2 customers have told me that.

Don't wax them with a typical wax. Wash and wax, etc if OK but I prefer a wash and protectant like 303...
