Is that foam seal just in need or replacement or something else? (See photo)

Also, if anyone wants to come out and detail my engine bay, feel free.

This stuff from Amazon will make quick work of the dirt in the engine bay. Spray, let sit for a bit, light brushing in tight spots, then rinse.

@JuanitoBunito do you use anything as a final dressing? After that P21S spray/rinse.

Na…. At least not yet. I’m lucky so far in that I don’t even use the cleaner all that often. I usually just wipe down everything I can touch with a damp towel after I dry the truck off after a wash. However, you can only do this if it isn’t too dirty to begin with. I used the cleaner in the inevitability dirty areas and tuff to reach areas. Once wiped down I’m happy how it looks so I just leave it. What would you recommend? To detail I have a bunch of chemical guy products. I know there’s better but for me it is all I need.

I have nothing to contribute when it comes to detailing. I just like the least amount of effort method that gets good results. And you engine bay always looks detailed.

Thanks man. That stuff I posted will get you great results with not much effort. I’ve also used it on my suspension.

So what new truck would you guys buy? Any brand. Already have the RAV4 Prime here so gas mileage on the truck won’t matter. Raptor? TRX? Buy a SxS?

New Tundra is out. It’s hideous. I don’t find myself going back to the Tundra forum like I do here either. Literally argued with multiple people on why putting spacers on Fox’s is stupid.

Side note: So far the 70" belt I found on ebay is going strong and no signs of any ware yet. It has only been about 400 miles give or take 50. @12TRDTacoma may want to add the info to the first page?

On our 4.0’s what’s easiest way to find top dead center. Can I turn crankshaft or alternator with a ratchet. I have a 1/4” plastic dowel that I was going to put in the spark plug hole and watch its movement.

if you have the OE crank pulley there is marks on it and the block. I think 0* and +-5 degrees.

I'll take that RAV4 Prime for the girlfriend.

As for new truck, I put in a $100 deposit on the new Ford Lightning, but I don't think I'm going to go through with it. I don't want an even bigger truck, I just want full electric. I put the deposit in anyway to encourage Ford (and others) to move forward with their hybrid/PHEV/electric options. The Ford Maverick isn't enough truck for me though to make it where I go with the camper on the Taco.

She better be short. I’m 5’ 3” with thermal expansion, with the seat in the lowest position, and still only have 3-4” to spare.

I wouldn’t mind a Lightning Tremor. If they ever offer it. Just for it to look cool though. Not sure I’d wheel with all electric.

i would like an all electric truck. but if money wasnt the issue f-150 shelby. im far from a ford fan but that would be it. factory lifted 700hp V-8. hard to beat that.
