Unfortunately it seems the voodoo blue color isn't a 2022 option. Lunar rock should be available for the OR though

 

I guess the AC MT in voodoo blue isn't as rare as I was lead to believe..... or this is all of them on Tacomaworld! Hahaha. Just got mine last week of May.

So I actually went to a dealership with samples of both Gloss Blue and Gloss Light Blue because they were both options at the time. Gloss Blue was damn near a match in direct sun light. I don’t believe I ever saw Gloss Intense Blue nor ever ordered a sample because it wasn’t an option at the time.

If you’re referring to the pictures of the install inside the garage, those lights inside definitely made the wrap look straight Blurple. Made me very worried until it went out into the sunlight for the first time and all my worries were gone.

 

Crap...they are retiring all the colors I like. So TRD off road will be black, magnetic grey, white, lunar and navy? This is the worst time to get a Tacoma. Just a year ago I was debating between quicksand, cement and voodoo.

At this point I'm praying for a 6th color that will save 2022. Literally any returning color from the last 6 years would do.

 

Very fair, fluorescent shop lighting is a bitch and doesn't show colours true by any stretch. I'm looking through your build page now and you're right it's bang on but the most recent posts about the scorching worries me. Granted you're about about 2,500km away from me and probably see a lot more sun year round whereas we have 6+ months of pure winter - I just don't have a garage either. I'll have to ask the shops around too because I'm not at all sure what brand of vinyl any of them carry and I know there's tons around.

 

Depending on the navy it might not be a terrible choice. I loved the 2nd gen Indigo Ink and Blue Ribbon was nice too. The Nautical Blue on the current 4Runners is amazing.

 

Felt like posting an update. Been a lot of fun so far. Many more pieces to go.

Had mine about a month now. Carried over my wheels from my 4runner and still need to block the back so it isn't squatted.

***Side note. Looking for a soft top shell for a 6ft bed if you have one you want to let go of.

Well, after 5 long months, I finally received my truck!
VooDoo Blue, TRD Sport, fully loaded with the Toyota dealer installed lift kit!
All ready have all the mods or order. And since I was able to find Blue decal to cover up the red on the 17" TRD Pro Matte Black Wheels (PTR20-35110-BK) below, I decided to go with all black and blue setup. Till then, here is the truck currently.

I know this is an old post, but where did you get your Rhino Bar from? Does this work with the hard Tonneau Cover?

 

Delivered to dealer at 11 this morning. Test drove at 5. Signing paperwork tomorrow on lunch at 11. Can’t wait! I put a deposit down almost a month ago and it kept getting delayed, so happy it’s finally here.
