    Hello everyone,

My auxiliary power outlets do not work (with exception to the bottom right outlet). I checked the fuses, which are all fine and I've even cleaned the outlets with a q tip with no results. I was wanting to know how I can replace them as I have found no videos on the subject. Thank y'all for reading and responding.

I turned mine into USB ports.
Simple to do but you need to make sure you’ve got power coming through

Thanks for the suggestion, mind telling me how I can change them into USB ports?

I got these. Take the lower center console off and remove the aux ports. Take a dremel and widen the holes- you’ll have to shave a little off the back of the console to fit the round plastic nuts that screw on the back of the new USB ports. The connectors on the backs of the aux ports are gray, 90 degrees with female spade connectors- gold and silver. The back of the USB ports have gold and silver make spades. You have to remove the gray plastic connectors from the OEM wiring. Then plug them in. No cutting, splicing or running wire. Takes maybe 1/2 an hour. Very simple and useful mod.

I checked both fuses, and my clock works. I think that the problem is with the ports themselves as they were filthy when I cleaned them.

Ah ok. Easy enough to check the backside of them with a test light or a meter.

The other possibility is that the relay for them isn't working.

Thanks for the info, it will be a few days before I can check but I'll update the thread when I find out.

The ports also have a fusable link on the backside where the wires connect. These can get burned up if someone sticks something in there that they shouldn't. It's just like a fuse, but you can't really replace it when it melts.

Thanks for the info, I assume that it couldn’t be fixed if it were burned up? I’m not yet able to check but I was curious in the event that this is the culprit. Thanks for the info.

You sure it's just not unplug from the rear?

I loosened the center console to see behind and there was some dirt. The cigarette lighter outlet was in bad shape too. I bought a voltage tester so I could check if there was any connection and there was nothing coming from the plug that connects to the outlet. I'm going to check on it more tonight since Texas heat is a bitch rn. I apologize for seeming ignorant but I'm not very good with wiring.

Dumb question, but you are checking the plug with igniting on correct? There's no power if key is out.

Yes, I have the ignition on when I check, and it’s not a dumb question.

I checked some more and found that the bottom left socket isn’t plugged into anything and there is also a wire that has been cut. The wire was dead according to my voltage tester but I’m hoping that there’s still a fix. Thank y’all for helping me through so far.
