Well they noticed the nail right off the bat, I told him don't worry about it, I'll plug it when. I get home. He looked at me and said uhhh, yeah we're gonna have to patch that or we can't mount it.

 

One of those tires has two other plugs in it.
The ARB plugs/kit are SOLID and have never let me down

 

Holy fuck me in the goat ass, $200 for dismount, mount, balance and disposal of old tires. I need to buy a tire machine.

 

Only 40 changes and it'll start paying for itself...

It think I’m looking at probably $2,500 to change my inter tie rod. I put a block behind my tire this afternoon and reached in to pop it in neutral and it’s now been stuck in 4th gear for a few hours and won’t pop back out.

 

damn. I’d have just charged you the amount for lag bolts, got the balancer bolted down and mounted/balanced them

 

Got my evap core done yesterday. Now I just need to run a vacuum and recharge the AC

Heeeeyyy, I'm kinda doing the same thing, just not tearing the whole dash apart.. My drier/condenser showed up yesterday. I couldn't find just a handful of orings, so I've got a pack of "The 18 most popular sizes". 270 in total.

 

What's a inner tie rod got to do with 4th gear?

 

Manual trans, was in a hurry, reached in to pop it in neutral(without using the clutch) so it could relax again the wheel chock before I jacked it up. When I pulled it out of gear something broke inside and it’s stuck in what I believe is 4th gear.

 

Uh are the 6spds made out of playdough?

 

Probably, I’ve pulled the shifter used a pry bar, rocked it, pushed it back outside and drove it in 4lo. Put the shifter back in and slapped it around. Pried on it some more. I keep using the force each round and I’m about to the point of frustration where it’s fucken broken and how much more broken can it get eyeball and vein popping force.

Try putting all four tires in the air an completely removing any tension on the drivetrain.

is the clutch releasing? The pressure plate may be busted and causing you to be stuck in gear

 

The clutch is releasing. We pushed it out and I drove around in low feathering it going up and down a little hill out in the yard to see if I could get something to mess up or unbound. I have not put it all the way up yet to try and unload it.

 

Man I don't see what all the fuss is about with 35s. Pleeeennnnnty of room back there.

I guess I'll see how she runs tomorrow after I wrap up a few other things.
