Get a credit card. Credit is something you'll need in the future. Use it instead of cash then pay it off every month. I have zero debt, unless you count my house, and haven't paid interest on any of my cards in forever. Use credit to your advantage and it's a great tool to have in the box. Use it like most Americans and it's a money sucking pit from hell.

 

100% agree with this. Have it as a tool, not a buy whatever I want and worry about it later card. Live the same way you were before you had a line of credit.

This article is not quite as pessimistic. basically calling for the market to go sideways for a while especially third quarter which is typical apparently. And inflation? Really? Like we can’t already see it.
If the market does go bust its not something that’s easy to predict when, have to throw in the panic factor like the March 2020 Covid drop.
