I don’t have a picture but I just went to Walmart and got the cheap ones that strap on. I don’t tow enough to to warrant the added expense.

I didn’t know tow mirrors existed for the Tacoma’s lol. I usually see those strap on extender things.

A 2nd gen guy put full size Dodge mirrors on his truck.

Otherwise I don't think such a towing mirror exists.

I tried the Top Gear Autosport ones. The company has shady reviews, so I consider I lucked out. The front signal does not work :( But they sure add a ton of visibility. Hoping someone can come up with a better solution some day.

Second the Milencos; super stable, good view, stay on when towing, then off the rest of the time..

Didn't know anyone even made towing mirrors for the Tacoma like that. So at least I know they are out there now!

Yeah I use those as well and they have worked great.

Ralf, you have had these mirrors for a while now, how are they holding up to your desires? Also, could you supply the distance extended from outside edge of the mirrors? A tape measure through the windows works well. I ask because I have an 8.5' wide trailer that I would like to see around.

I’m also eyeing the Top Gear. Sort of expected to be disappointed. I would like a larger mirror and power folding would be nice. I probably will be lame and just not bother.

They've certainly held up, aside from getting a dent because the don't have a stop. The doors sheet metal is the stop. No fault of mine, but be aware that folding them in towards the truck, you have to be do it slowly. Getting it fixed soon..

Other than that they've been good. Really enjoy the rear view vision, it's a significant increase! I'm curious to see how they do this winter, if they can keep the ice off..

I measured, and it's 100-101" from full extension. So might just be enough to see past your trailer.

    Hope this helps!

Thanks for the measurement. Trailer is 102” wide!

So when the mirror folds, whether it be by a rock, tree or by your own hand they make very firm contact with the door skin.

Does your truck have BSM and if so do the mirrors?

That's my only beef with them.. Fold them in gently, and you'll be fine. I'm surprised how well they held against brush and trees off-road. Never issues there.

I don't have BSM, but these do have the BSM ready system on them.

Ralf, I called the company and they say they do not have BSM capability. Very possible I got someone who did not know their products well. Are you sure the logo on the glass mirror is of two cars? Or is it of something else, your pictures and the company's do not clearly show detail. I believe the catalog # of your mirrors is 186480.

    RALF,
How have these mirrors held up with the ice and snow? Do they seem to be made up of quality materials?

I'll be interested to see what RALF says. I have since bought these mirrors and have a few opinions too. I will wait for RALF to answer before adding my input.
