I'll check but I don't think he pulled harness out of the control module but he swapped harness around. That caused a spark which damaged the control module.

Seems like it. But at least the harness is good since the lights are working except the control module. A friend of mine tested the fuse box under the hood, the lights came on.

The module helps with the power locks and lights in the settings in headunit... which means when you take the gear out of Park, the locks will be locked on the doors. Then when the gear is in Park, the locks will be unlocked. Right now, it's not working so I have to un/lock the locks manually like 80's cars. If you don't want that, you can turn it off in the settings so when you change the gears, it won't do a thing to the locks. Especially other things that involved with the control such as power windows, FOB, lights, etc.

I wish I waited until 2021 so I buy a Tacoma with factory remote starter so i wouldn't have this problem as mentioned above. I bought '17 instead. If I waited, I would have my 2007 Tacoma by now. But I traded it in for 2017 Tacoma. My 2007 Tacoma had 35,000 miles before I traded in. Very good truck. I wish I keep that truck. I plan to get another someday.. Maybe another Tacoma. Or I might change mind and get either RAV4 (off road looking model, not standard look) or Camry.

@dirty deeds I got an email that the haunt wants me back working there so I will talk with them about having that weekend off for off road park. Maybe 1 day off... I am waiting on a call so I come in for interview about what I would be doing for them. Then I start working for them soon after.

Before you guys ask where I will work for the haunt this year, I have no idea right now because I haven't talked with them yet and they have to decide where they send me to after we are done with interviewing.

Yeah. Where tf everyone at? Certainly won’t beat last years page count at this rate. Need some more B.S in here…. Anyone wanna have a parts install day at my house sometime in the next month? I got lots of shit to do to the rig and it would give me a good excuse to get it done. The wife wouldn’t have a choice but to watch the kiddos :D

I can come by your place but if the haunt calls me to come in, then I may not be able to unless they give me time off.

I just sent email to the haunt that I filled the form about 5 mins ago. Now I wait for their call.

I need to make adjustments to mine as well. Literally no time to do so with trying to sell and buy a house, potentially find a new job too. A 3 hour daily commute to Huntington isn't what I want in my truck, or my back.

I would handle that schedule a lot better than 8-5 M-F, with the ~1.5 hour one-way drive! But they won't accommodate shit for me, I could just as easily tell someone they're an idiot and to restart their PC over the phone at home, vs doing it to their face :notsure:. I didn't even come at my boss with full WFH, just like 2 or 3 days a week and no other requests like more pay, company vehicle, company pays fuel/maintenance, etc. We get decent benefits here, but some of them are still stuck in the mentality of 50s business practices, without the booze, cigarettes, and office hoochies.

I'm just about burnt on the small to medium business IT bullshit now. If I could nail down another commercial telecom position that allowed me to not have weekly overnight travel, I'd take it in a heartbeat! Even for less pay!

    Hey all,

I went to the park and I noticed they played with their rc vehicles.

I haven't seen one with winch... Very cool.

Those are just single words and one acronym. Individual words, that in no way, have anything to do with the preceding or succeeding word or words. :hattip::cool:
