Dustin got in his head by not letting him bother him with the trash talk. Conor doesn't like it when he doesn't get his way. Sore loser.

 

Does Dustin have Connors number or is Connor just 6 years out of his prime? Haha. I couldn’t get enough of his fights in his early days. Guy needs to get out for good.

 

I think Dustin was right about the checked kick earlier in the round...it just seems odd that his leg would do that the way it did without something impacting it.

 

I completely agree. Even tho Conner tried to play it off like that wasn’t the case.

 

Yeah, Conor's gonna do that and so will his camp and fanbase. Dude was getting smashed, even though MMA is an unpredictable sport, I really didn't see much of a difference in Conor this fight than the last fight and it's my humble and highly accurate opinion that it would have ended in the second round.

What about Tai Tuivasa smashing Greg Hardy or even Kris Moutinho taking that beating?

I think if Dustin beats Oliveira (and retains the belt for a time), McGregor will heal up and weasel his way into a title shot.

Yeah, because there's no such thing as a ranking system in the UFC, there's no meritocracy. Of course, it's a big IF with Dustin beating Oliveira 'cause that dude's a beast. Plus Dustin will have to defend the title and with the way rematches go, depending on HOW he beats him...it could be automatic.

 

Well, there is..but there isn't as well. Seems to be convenient at times..and while different, look at wrestling. In theory the secondary singles champ (US, Intercontinental) is the #1 contender for the World belt but how often does it happen.

Plus Conor puts asses in seats like it or not

 

This is why I think he'll get the shot at Dustin should it get to that.
