I bought extra anti rattle clips when I was buying other parts and haven't put them on yet. Even though I had my wheels off last week for a rotation, I forgot to bring the parts with me.

 

Added some 12v outlets where there should have been some from the factory

 

Yeah my younger bro works for fedex too so it wasn’t a problem and they delivered it today but yeah I wasn’t upset about it.. if anything I thought maybe the driver left my neighborhood not knowing he had another for me and had already gone too far to come back

 

Yeah... I get paid by the stop so if it's unmanifested then it gets delivered nxt day. I usually make a mental note & leave notes for customers that I deliver too as well

Installed new seats

 

I installed a Redarc trailer brake today. Pretty easy. It took me longer to locate and access the connector plug under the dash than it took to install the rest. I used

$8 3M VHB 100x200mm~ (4" X8") Double Sided Foam Adhesive Sheet Tape 5952 Automotive Mounting Industrial Grade Very High Bond 5952 (1 Sheets 100x200mm)

3M VHB tape to secure the control box to a flat surface above the main fuse panel tucked neatly away.

Much appreciated. It's a cheaper cam (comes with front and rear) I got on Amazon by Apeman (would post the link but it seems Amazon took it down), but it has come in handy twice already (got hit from behind a few months ago - very lucky year for me - truck also got broken into between these events). It was 11 pm and on a dark road, so I wasn't able to make out plate details from the cam. Given how they pulled out, their plate was only visible for a split second. I was hoping the PD would be able to freeze frame it and clear it up a bit. Really makes you appreciate how much money, work, and time you put into your truck. All of it could be gone in a split second.

 

I’m definitely gonna check out a front and rear. Seems to be worth the money

Replaced old molle overhead rack with new @MESO rack. Rack is for 3rd gen but fit my 2007 dclb, so I ordered 2016 oem handles to give it a clean look.

Yesterday I rotated the tires and installed some PROTEC splash guards from Gear Tech Customs. Thicker and more coverage than OEM.

 

What's up w/ your floating switches down below? How are they attached under cubby?

 

Received my replacement third member for my regear.


Pulled my front diff out of my FJ to put in the taco, and while I had it out, deleted the ADD.


Then since I had the front half of the FJ apart already, removed the +2 LT do get it ready to sell..


Aand.. Replaced the uniballs in some Camburg UCAs I picked up a while back..

 

Had to pick-up 16' baseboards. Not a huge load, only six of them. Read a few of the posts on Tacoma World and came up with this frame idea I built with 2 x 4's that I bought for a separate project. To keep the frame in the truck, I ratcheted the end of the frame which extended beyond the tailgate to the two tie downs at the end of the bed. Used two pieces of 2x4 on the tailgate to distribute the load weight to avoid any damage or bending. Load stayed tight and made the trip home no problem. Disassembled and used the 2 x 4's for another project.
