How long did you have to wait for your 2021 factory order?

Following up to a recent post— ordered 4/21, hit the port (from MEX) and allocated to dealer 7/6, arrived to dealer today. Couldn’t be more thrilled for a 21 Lunar Rock. Happy Friday, gents!

That's just information for the Southeast region, but you get the idea. From what I have gathered, the Southeast region (and one other one) is privately managed, and the other regions are managed by Toyota.

Yes, Southeast Toyota and GST are the last remaining distributors. Everything else is ran by Toyota themselves. My truck was built in Guanajuato, dispatched from Veracruz port and eventually landed at JAXPORT

 

Have had some things come up on the home front and will likely be letting my order go since it was not a need. Wanted to let folks on here know before I call the dealer.

That's not MSRP. I just got that exact config a month ago in green for $41k OTD and I was okay knowing I was getting shivved

 

You got a DCLB OR w/ Premium OR & tech packages for 41 otd? I admit I'm skeptical the builds were the same but if so how?

 

My bad, I missed DCLB. I have a DCSB. Got the cool headlights and blind spot thingys. But yeah everything's the same (FYI weatherliners and mudguards are included on every truck I saw on the lot ). $2800 difference so yeah I would've been out the door 43.8k (shiv price) but MSRP is still not 44.X.

That's probably the LIST price which is dealerspeak for "this is our price that we made up"

 

Gotcha. Yeah, I know the matts & guards are on pretty much every one and I was being clear of what exactly the is coming with. As for price, its the price the shows up on the Toyota config site and the print out I left the dealer with that says "Total MSRP".

 

Unless the printout is the sticker, it's dealer doodoo. Go on Toyota's site, put 90001 as the zip, and build your config

I put in the TRD OR bed lights, liners and door sill, DCLB 4x4 3.5L, second tech package I think you have

I don't even think the leather heated seats brings it to 44

 

Not sure why you are being aggressive but appears you are forgetting Premium OR package.
(The $80 difference in my original post and this screenshot is a difference in delivery fee between site and paperwork.)

I meant because I didn't want to pay for themthey are very cool! Cleans easy, looks nice, heated for winter. It's just constantly hot here, so unless ass burning is a kink..

 

My better half has a Rav w/ heated seats AND wheel and in the Winters here in the NE those are awesome. Hell, I have the back warmer on a lot outside of Winter as well.

 

I hope everything is okay for you and the family. I hate you have to let the truck go, but like you said it was a want, not a need. Good position to be in on that front at least. I hope everything is okay for you guys up there and hope you can get one soon...

 

"Ordered" a TRD Sport in AG with the rare LB/6MT combo. As with others I had no idea that an order is not really an order so the comments here have been incredibly helpful. Overall timeframe will be about 5 months as follows:

Deposit: 3/12/21
Allocation: 5/4/21
Built: 7/5/21
Delivery: 8/3 - 8/9 dealer estimate

I was curious if anyone knows how delivery from Mexico to the midwest (Detroit area) occurs as I've read that some are shipped by boat. I'm hoping for an earlier delivery as my current truck (08 Dodge) is near death/unusable and I've commandeered my wife's 4Runner for towing duty and she's not happy about that. Definitely looking forward to the anvil-like durability of another Toyota.

 

I'm pretty sure you can't get a long bed with a manual transmission.
