I seriously feel like the 4WD 24/7 crew should at least tip a hat to this build lol

Hey guys, at some point I would like to upgrade my tires. My 2017 TRD OR is completely stock suspension and I would like to add BFG KO2's. I am sure you were all at this point. In your opinion should I keep stock and just get tires or add a leveling kit and go with ones slightly bigger? Also does anyone happen to know if I went with stock suspension KO2's what the size would be?

    Ugh.. So many decisions!

Thanks in advance! You guys are awesome!

A 32 inch set of falken wild peaks will fit under your stock truck.

Leveling kits are for sissies. If you're gonna upgrade, get a real suspension. Beats having to upgrade twice, plus leveling kits do not help your performance whatsoever.

KO2s are heavy. Granted, any tire size upgrade will be, so there's that.

32's! Wow that's crazy.. seems a bit large for stock. There is absolutely no rubbing?

I run 265/75r16 and not even a little bit of rubbing. As far as the leveling kit goes, do an even lift front and rear. Level is bad for stability, especially if the rear is loaded making your truck nose up.

Stock tire size can vary depending on your trim. However, you don't need a lift to fit 265/75r16, but it makes things a bit more proportional looking. Mine is a 2015 and I do have a baby lift, but you get the idea. Unfortunately, the wide angle lens on my camera makes things look inconsistent as well

Stock tires on a 3rd gen are 30.6 ish ("31s"). I believe Falkens come in at like, 31.7 ish ("32s"). No rub on stock suspension, even while wheeling.

    My condolences

it is thats why it dont go much anywhere and i also snapped the brake line after doing photos lol the ziptie holding the bracket in place broke so i took it to my buddy's house and we tapped the holes and fixed it this time so i shouldnt have an issue with it anymore maybe

but the front end is still very much out of wack and half of my bushing on the passenger rear cam bolt is gone

but just because its broken doesnt mean i dont make stupid decisions like idk maybe jumping it a little :anonymous:

i agree with everyone else a leveling kit is pretty worthless they ride worse and are just junk overall id go with a simple lift from bilstien

also ew ko2s coming from someone that has owned them i will never ever own another set of those tires again

I'll have my rear bilstein 5100s and 3rd gen leaf packs with AAL off in a month or so, time permitting. :fingerscrossed: 50k on the shocks and unknown on the leafs. Shoot me a PM and I'll try to snap pics before I leave tomorrow.
