Army Green thread: let’s keep it green!

I’ve seen you post this a few times in here and I’ve been drinking so I’m intrigued…what does it do different than stock? It looks like a fancy replacement that accomplishes the same thing as a stock part. Am I missing the point? Legitimate question.

Yes, it is a "fancy replacement" just like anything else you buy aftermarket and put on your truck.

 

Does anyone know if army green will be a low-production/exclusive color to 2020/2021? I'm thinking of selling my truck because I don't need it right now and the market is so hot I could get more than what I paid, but I want this exact truck in 2022/2023

 

Army Green will be available for 2022. Only 2 colors being dropped are Cement and Voodoo Blue.

 

Oofd, those were nice too. Oh well, army green rules! What do you think are the chances it gets dropped for 2023?

And can we all just take a moment and say that with the exception of the new pro color and electric blue, Toyota is the king of sickkk stock colors

I’m gonna assume it’s just the electric lime metallic because Toyota kinda overbooked the color options for 2021

 

Why not just keep what ya got if you’re satisfied with the truck? Seems silly to me to gamble on the future unless you really need out of this truck right now. Selling what you have now to buy the exact same thing next year seems foolish to me as no one knows what the future holds and the truck may not be exactly as you want or the right price or available. Seems to me you have everything to lose and only inches to potentially gain on this one. I only gamble on things I can afford to lose, me personally, I wouldn’t gamble on this one but life is full of choices.

 

Any issues with that bumper and the TSS sensor?

Who wouldn't want an extra few thousand bucks and a brand new truck if they don't need it right now? Dealerships would love you for feeding the urgency like every Toyota truck doesn't have 100k+ exact copies. the most likely scenario is that trucks are the highest price they're going to be right now due to the shortage.

 

Nope, everything works as normal.
