Makes ya wonder, makes me wonder anyways. Would people talk to each other in person the way they do online? 9 times out of 10, it would end poorly id imagine.

I managed three tire and repair shops and beads are used frequently for "problem tires". LOL. @Sungod might lean in on this but I've thrown some in a tire myself on a few occasions. Mostly 10/12/14 ply tires. I know I used them successfully on a set of Nexen's I sold and they worked great......for a while. I ended up warranty on those.
This has nothing to do with the ignore feature, but I have used it today. LMAO

I have actually added a few to my ignore list as well. Just no patience for people being dicks. Smart ass and joking is one thing. But being a cock gobbler just because, not cool.

My Paw Paw (WW2 Vet) told me about balancing beads when I was young, but all through life I never heard of them or looked into them until about 5 years ago.
I first tried Dyna beads on my motorcycle which are ceramic beads so small they can fit through your valve stem minus core, and they worked fine with one exception. The ceramic beads tended to create a fine ceramic dust that would (on occasion) prevent the valve core from resealing after checking tire pressure. A blast of air into the tire would fix it. I changed to a little larger stainless steel beads I get of Amazon and never had an issue with them. They have to be installed when you install your tire. The first set I had a tire place install in truck tires were installed in uncut bags, but they told me that after a few miles the bags would open and they were right. It was about 20 or 30 miles best I recall so I kept my speeds down to 50 or below until things worked as they should. Since then I have used (pre cut bags or just dump em in the tire GENTLY) them in tires on my motorcycle, quad, 3 trucks, and a jeep. Never had an issue, and since the beads balance the tire every time you ride the tires have lasted longer as well. You need to follow the online chart though as the number of ounces needed is different depending on tire size.
They don't work on super low profile tires from what I've read.
If your having the beads set with an air blaster might be best to leave them in the bags, but I use brake cleaner, lighter, and a rubber hammer to instanly set the beads.

Yep totally agree. They work. No question. There was a sand based product years ago, but it had problems clumping up and you get the same result as the OP. I have seen people use BBs, golf balls, fishing weights, etc. It isn't used commonly because there are problems associated with the beads when it comes to mounting and dismounting tires. They can fall into your equipment and onto the floor. They can also potentially damage your TMPS sensor. Especially if you are running golf balls! That is why shops don't use them commonly, not because they don't work. I know UPS ran them in their fleet, and probably still do.
