5yr old girl killed by Pit bulls

Horrible. This happened about 20mins from my house.

Instead of complaining the first time, they should have just killed the damn things.

My pits have never bitten anybody and are safe around kids and strangers .. I just can't understand why they mistreat and neglect these dogs knowing they are an aggressive breed

not again. damn. I firmly believe this is a breeding problem, not a dog problem. you breed nice dogs to nice dogs, you get nice puppies but the opposite is true mean = mean.

 

cause for them its either a status symbol or they think treating the dogs like ass will equal a mean guard dog. there should be a license to get these working breed type dogs. kinda like gun control. its a tragedy this had to happen

A friend of mine got 2 pitbulls just to prove to people they can be gentle and they are some of the best dogs I've ever met. It's all Training.

 

Yea man, there are a couple "thuggish" wannabes around here with pits that constantly train them to attack and pull 50 lb. weights when I see them walking.

One of them ran up to me a while back and I let a kick fly, made contact with the dogs jaw and it did a 180. Idk if it was going to attack since it want barking but who knows. Owner was pissed.

 

A little girl died 3 mins from my house when 2 Rottweilers got ahold of her. She was playing in her yard and the neighbor left his gate open and the dogs ran through the gate. Horrible thing when something like that happens to anybody.

 

This is so sad....F**k pit bulls....there the most worthless dogs in the world unless you want protection from a little kid....This pisses me off..no one should deserve this..I don't care what owners say about them "oh mine are so nice" bullshit there genetically aggressive and you can never change that....they should all be put down and burned in hell.....prayers go out to the victims...

 

we were doing good without bashing the breed or getting too personal, but youre a moron. are you also for banning rotts? dobermans? mastiffs? they were made to be attack/securtiy dogs too. how bout cane corsos? presa canarios? should we all only have yorkies and maltipoos?

 

This is a result of bad breeding, bad owners and poor handling of the many complaints. Things that this would easily be avoided. Prayers out to the family.

 

actully a true american pitbull terrier has human aggression bred out of them, if they showed it they were culled, dog aggression is normal. mixed back yard breeding has affected these lines when "thugs" breed for size and mix in different breeds and not raising them properly

also there are over 16 breeds of dogs that the media considers "pitbulls" which isnt even a breed it's self.

 

Actually-
pit bulls were bred to be aggressive towards other animals while remaining friendly and submissive towards humans.
they ARE good dogs.
The problem comes in where they are trained to be "human-aggressive" or taught to fight.
A responsible pit bull owner knows and understands that a dog that shows any type of aggression towards a human should be put down, no questions asked.
I believe the same goes for many other breeds.

You are a disgrace! I'd love for you to meet my pit. She'll fucking kill you with kindness. All dogs misbehave. I've been bit, by a lab and Shepherd. Never a pit. The dogs should not burn in hell, the irresponsible ass owners should. I've had two pits. Both are very loyal and great around everyone. It is definitely the bringing up of the dog that makes it. Kill the dead, not the breed.
