G'mornin guys! Got my frame welded up and she's feelin rock solid. Time to knock some rust off and coat with some POR-15. Then I can finally put the bed back on after 6ish weeks! Can't wait for AOAA this weekend, even convinced my brother to come along in his F250. Gonna be an awesome week

I don’t know what your set up is but I have a 3 inch lift on mine.
I only had to use four wheel high twice the entire afternoon. Once climbing a mountain and going through a big puddle that I didn’t wanna take a chance of getting stuck in.

 

So it sounds like the green trails are going to be a more fun, introductory event rather than working your MTS, crawl mode, and 4-low

 

I’m In crownsville pretty sure @beorn the fat and I are going to meet up then head to the meet in PA.

 

I air down to 15psi always, never had an issue with beads blowing. I use one of the deflators that removes the valve core for quick deflating and a

$175 smittybilt 2781 smittybilt AIR COMPRESSOR 5.65CFM - SB2781

smittybilt 2781 to air up. Happy to share if I can make it

Also realized I'm about 6hrs away since I moved back to school in blacksburg, so if anyone is camping, that's looking like a good option now lol

 

pretty much.. there were some challenging spots, but if you take the right path you really don’t have to worry about it. It is for the western side of the park. We pretty much stayed on the Westside didn’t really do anything on the east.

 

We did the "scenic route" on the east side last time I went in the snow and it was a good mix of challenge. Did have to cross a big sign saying they won't tow you out if you get stuck back there lol

 

Cool! I may want to meet up with you guys in Crownsville although I gotta meet up with my brother in Glen Burnie too.

 

Im at 2.5 lift with 255/85/16 st Maxxs. I don’t think I’ll have any issues… though i have steps not sliders… so I’ll be careful if there are any iffy situations

 

Damn, all of these guys headed out on a fun trip this weekend is making want to take the 'runner out and join them.
