In the short 2 months I've been a member here, I don't think a day has gone by where I don't read a thread saying what Toyota does is "unacceptable" on a wide variety of topics concerning these trucks. If so many people find so many things about these trucks unacceptable, why buy one in the first place?

Yeah but there is a reason that you can pay what you do for these trucks.

I'm just surprised nobody has mentioned the fact the OP's name is the male version of "Karen". You guys have let me down :D

With that said, I do find it hard to believe it's not standard b/c Toyota could charge an extra couple hundo for it.

When I look at all I get for upgrading the V6 4x4 to SR5 or TRD Off Road, it seems like Toyota doesn't want to sell the SR at all. That extra $1500-$3000 goes a long way.

perfectly reasonable to be surprised any modern vehicle, base model or otherwise, doesn’t have intermittent wipers or even keyless entry.

But silly fan boys gonna see no wrong.

For the record I added intermittent wipers, oem fogs, and keyless entry to my SR utility and it’s the model I wanted.

Lol at safety feature. It's a convenience feature. You have medium and fast. You'll be ok.

The bump feature worked for me for 335,000+ miles and 20 years. Oh, by the way, my first car didn't have power steering. Gee, who needs to man up now?

I'm sure Toyota would agree with you and gladly include all that stuff as standard. But then there would be complaints when the MSRP on the base truck goes up $6k.

An LEO with anger issues over something so simple is concerning...........

So you're unaware of years of frame failures and subsequent replacements?

    "He says" is always interesting.

Ask him how it was 'solved'. If it's by the stuff they put on the frames that pass inspection when taken in, that's more like lipstick on a pig.

Should've gone with the utility pkg. Much faster to upgrade the wiper stalk vs. removing the rear headrests and seatbelt retractors.
