    It’s getting better. Doing stuff takes a lot out of me but I gotta keep moving. After the install I have to ice it but I’m usually fine the next day.

    Glad we got everything put back together without any issues. Having a refreshed suspension does a lot for inspiring confidence in the truck you drive. Makes everything feel brand new again.

    I think it’s important to practice your craft whenever you can. That applies to pretty much any creative outlet IMO. A close friend’s son is taking welding classes at his HS and in an effort to nurture that for him I gave him a bunch of steel and asked him to build me a cube. I told him anybody could glue two pieces of metal together but if you want to be a fabricator, you have to be able to think a project through from start to finish and how all the pieces will fit together. He confidently agreed but asked that I build him one as well. I took it as an opportunity for me to practice too. Here’s my attempt:

    Not perfect and some of the tighter gaps left a mound of weld higher than I’d like, but it was fun to put together.
