As several have already mentioned, easy install and super well made product. Thanks, @daveeasa ! I combined w/ @MESO hitch light pod and @memario1214 PnP harness I now can really see where I'm going in reverse :bananadance:

Was the PnP harness designed for the hitchpod? Does he have a thread on it or best to just reach out directly? Been debating if I want it on a switch or just auto on

So there is where you'll find both the HitchPod combos as well as the vehicle specific wiring harnesses that are currently available. (2nd & 3rd Gen Tacomas as well as current gen Tundras). They are designed to tap the reverse circuit such that when you put the truck into reverse the S1 would trigger.

And there isn’t an integrated DIR + hitchpod harness right now. I like having them separate so I that it is be easy to add/remove independently. You can use either taillight for the hitchpod, driver or passenger, while the DIR is designed for the driver side due to the location of the license plate light intercept.

Daisy chaining both on the driver side should be 100% ok. If anyone is super OCD, plug in the reverse tap upstream. But since we use 18 gauge on the DIR T, vs 20 on the OEM side, there should be zero difference either way.

I'm in Portland for another week. Hoping to get caught up on things early next week. You are in my top 3 for "stuff I still need to build" along with @Zumozuzu7 @ktbell444 and I think at least one other person? Meanwhile @Empty_Lord lord waits patiently.

I'll add a reminder note to myself in the custom harness thread so I don't forget b/c my memory is not awesome.

I'm fully working (it's been nonstop madness at my real job).
And did some horse hauling Sunday night/Monday morning including my first stretch of moderate traffic on I5 with the semi truck, air brakes, and 15 horse trailer.

So, not entirely vacation, not entirely work, just (perhaps unfortunately) no crimping b/c minimal room to bring all that stuff.

We (mostly my other bro in law) did get some time with the miller for his custom designed stools (photos below)

Is that a Xcarve or a custom build?

I believe it is an Xcarve. If I had a bit more space it might be on my list of toys to own, but then again building furniture out of plywood is potentially far less useful once the kids stop destroying everything they touch.

It has been on my list for a while, but space constraints limit me as well.

I think I have 5 of these I’ll label tonight and ship tomorrow. Look for an email with the tracking number.
